A South Korean health food brand Myrtle Berry Farm won the 2020 Korea Future Management Awards in the health food brand. The farm is producing and making over 100 kinds of healthy foods themed from a variety of herbs, grains and vegetables. 

All ingredients used at Myrtle Berry Farm are hygienically and healthily dried home and abroad and delivered by air for maximum freshness. Red beat, for example, is from Jeju, matrimony vine from Cheongyang County and drumstick tree from India.

Oh self-studied medicinal herbs for his constantly ill-stricken wife. When finding his wife significantly better after taking cultivated ginseng for a while, Oh was convinced of effectiveness of medicinal herbs which eventually led to opening a business. 

"Back than, dried herbs were everywhere but powdered. So I focused on powdered herbs for easy taking and words soon start to spread from mouth to mouth. Today, my products are being sold at major department stores and railway stations" says Oh.

Among many powdered products, barley sprouts are the hottest seller and it takes 30% of overall sales of the farm. Around 1,000 units are made to order daily and the output has increased by 200% on last year.
