VTC bears fruit on the soils of SMCK
Jeong is a 20 year experienced taxi driver but he has two more titles: CEO of SMCK Service Management Consulting Korea and Chancellor of VTC. He used to run his own business but failed in the time when he lost his child. But he pulled himself together to start a new career as a taxi driver. He obtained 60 certificates and finished courses at renowned 'MK Taxi' (Japan) and 'Black Cap' (UK) as the first foreigner. Jeong says "I also introduced Jeep Wrangler to the taxi industry for the first time in the world for special and formal taxi services. Driving a taxi is not all about driving itself but a total care service that includes wi-fi, red carpet, cardioverter and emergency kit." Thanks to his innovation in the industry, he appeared on popular channels of KBS and CBS and provided more than 1,000 lectures for Samsung, Hyundai, LG and luxury hotels, numerous organizations and media. According to Jeong, SMCK is a brain group and its top service specialists provide professional lectures and business consulting.

As part of the new concept service manual project, Jeong developed a service monitoring system called 'Serviscore' which functions as a mystery shopper to maintain the quality service. Also, SMCK suggests business ideas that can make steady profits and creates teaching materials for VTC. Jeong says "If Kakao Taxi and Uber Taxi innovated the model, reservation and payment systems, we innovated the service quality and professionalism of the drivers. We plan to combine these two advantages in order to introduce a luxury transport service system like airlines and hotels." 

Pioneering a promising service industry
When asked why he uses Jeep Wrangler, Jeong said "I wanted to break the existing standardized taxi models and the conception of the service. My customers are usually VIPs (approx. 2% of taxi users) and the service is provided on reservation. I also took into account 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in which the snowy roads require a car like Jeep Wrangler." Jeong also invited Riverside Hotel's general manager Lee Jeong-min and Education Technology Prof. Yu Young-man of Hanyang University to the Development Department as advisors for education. When he established VTC in 2013, the board members of SMCK also provided a lot of support. These include Head of Consulting and Marketing Kim Hae-ji who used to be a stewardess on international flight and Special Consultant Jeong Ha-rin who used to be a hotelier of a 6 star hotel and a crew of an international cruise. These two figures worked together to form a dream team which would provide CS mind training and consulting. Jeong Ha-rin said "We provide monitoring-type customized service over just assessment. We also provide field-centered training and points out improvement measure every time we carry it out."

Kim said "Our top priority is to provide excellent customer services. But we don't just check whether drivers just smile much but whether they provide appropriate services according to each situation." CEO Jeong mentioned about these two board members "Kim and Jeong are my right and left wings who know well about the service industry and startup training. They are my sincere business partners and companions." Based on its unique service monitoring system 'Serviscore' and excellent team work, the staff of SMCK and VTC will provide upgraded transport services in Korea.
