Most people value sharing things with other people but not many people put it in practice because they do not know how and what to share. Some people, for this reason, say that even sharing needs an advice. There is a company which takes this into action through an innovative way of donation; Samsung Fire Income. CEO Kim Oh-gyu says "We share a small seed with people because the more people share the seed the bigger it grows." Samsung Fire Income was established in 2012 and has 165 employees. It is headquartered in Jukdo-dong, Buk-gu, Pohang and has branches in Gyeongju, Yeongcheon and Gyeongsan. Last year, the company signed a business agreement with KB Life, Lina Life, and Samsung Card. CEO Kim worked as director of Samsung Fire in Seoul, Daegu and Pohang and managed about 700 employees before he became CEO of the current company. He says "I received a lot of help from many people and made a good relationship with them. So I wanted to return back the help I received to our society."

Samsung Fire Income runs a 'good marketing'. It is a system that the account of each customer who signed a more than 10 year insurance contract donates KRW 1,000. The amount is small but it makes a bigger ripple effect among the insurance policy holders as they automatically donate part of their money. It is different from the normal way of sympathy donation. Kim says "The respond from our customers are great and we hope that more companies and people will participate in this kind of donation." He continued "Sharing and helping people in need are not a special thing we do every now and then but they should be life itself. Good companies come from good culture and we can make a better society if we have positive mind.“

2% of positive mind to change the world

Respect and easiness are Kim's motto when meeting with his clients. He says "One must be a brand itself to advance. If I don't have my own brand, I had better find one. And I use my brand and ability in the marketing field. I plan to interview with as many successful people as I can so that I can share their principles with students. I also plan to spread our way of donation to more people with my staff whose age ranges from young to the 60s." Kim adds "I tell my staff to work with me until we reach 100 years old so that we can share our hard work and good will with more people." There is a 2% principle to have a beautiful life.
