청년 20만+ 창조 일자리박람회로 가자!
청년에게 일자리 기회와 다양한 일자리 정보를 제공하기 위한 ‘부산·울산·경남지역 청년 20만+ 창조 일자리박람회’가 지난 달 16일 벡스코 제2전시장에서 개최됐다. 이번 부산·울산·경남지역 박람회에는 지역 창조경제혁신센터 주관 기업인 롯데, 두산, 현대중공업, LG그룹의 65개 계열사 및 협력사가 참여하여 현장에서 서류접수 또는 채용상담, 현장면접을 진행하며 지역형 고용디딤돌 프로그램을 도입하여 협력사, 중소기업간의 가교 역할을 적극적으로 실행 했다. 또한, 지역 우량 강소기업 51개사도 참여해 사무직, 해외영업직, 연구개발직, 프로그래머, 토목기사 등 다양한 직종에 현장면접 등을 통해 우수 인재 380여 명을 채용했다.

이날 박람회에는 지역 인재의 창업을 지원하는 ‘창조경제관’과 청년고용대책의 주요 일자리정보를 제공하는 ‘청년고용정책홍보관’을 운영했다.  이밖에도 구직자를 위한 ‘취업컨설팅관’에서는 청년위원회의 청년버스에서 실시하는 취업·진로을 비롯하여, 이력서 작성 및 면접 컨설팅 등이 제공되며 ‘세미나관’에서는 롯데 및 두산그룹에서 인사담당자의 채용상담 및 채용설명회와 청년위원회 강영훈 위원의 멘토 특강이 이루어 졌다. 부산시 관계자는 “정부와 부산시가 민간기업과 힘을 모아 청년고용문제 해결을 위해 이번 일자리박람회를 개최하게 되었다”면서, “이번 행사가 인력이 필요한 구인기업에는 유능한 인재채용의 기회를 제공해 구인·구직 미스매칭을 해소하고 취업난을 겪고 있는 청년구직자들에게는 취업기회 뿐만 아니라 유익한 일자리 정보를 한 자리에서 얻을 수 있기를 바란다”고 전했다.

2015 부산국제수산무역EXPO 수산외교에 총력
역대 최대 규모로 치른 ‘2015 부산국제수산무역EXPO’가 규모에 걸맞게 11개국 연안수산국 고위인사들이 참여한 활발한 수산외교가 펼처지고 수출 및 내수상담 실적도 기대이상의 성과를 거뒀다. 부산시와 벡스코는 지난 지난 달 29일부터 31일까지 열린 2015 부산국제수산무역엑스포에는 26개국 396개사 823부스에다 국내외 바이어 관람객이 지난해보다 10% 늘어난 1만 4천여 명에 달했다고 발표했다. 특히, 올해 부산국제수산무역엑스포의 초점은 우리나라 원양업계의 신어장개척과 교역조건 개선을 위한 수산외교에 총력을 기울였다.
지난 10월 29일 열린 개막식부터 예년과는 달리 테이프커팅 등 의전행사를 없애고 VIP룸에서 서병수 시장과 윤학배 해양수산부차관이  세네갈 우마르 게이 세네갈 해양경제부 장관, 모로코 농업해양국 처장, Kevin Sage-EL미국대사관 농업무역관장 등 11개국에서 온 외교사절들과 우의를 다졌다. 세네갈 정부는 10월 29일 오후 김규옥 부산시 부시장과의 면담에서 세네갈현지에 소형어선 수리조선소 건립을 요청했고, 이에 대해 부산시는 강남조선 등 부산관내 중소조선 관련기업과 협의해 긍정적으로 검토키로 했다. 벡스코와 코트라, 한국수산무역협회가 각각 주관한 수출상담회에는 무역상담 7백 42건 6억 달러 상당의 실적을 거둬 지난해에 비해 5%가량 증가했다. 또한, 농심, 롯데마트, 수협중앙회, 이마트 등 국내 유통기업 21개사를 초청한 국내비즈니스상담회에는 해외기업 16개사 국내 45개사 등 61개업체가 참가해 84건, 350억 원 상당의 상담이 이뤄져 35건 54억 원어치 계약실적을 올렸다. 이밖에 올해는 수산과학총연합회학술대회, 전국시도수산행정협의회 등 다양한 행사가 열려 전국 3천여 명의 산,학,관,민 수산인들이 참여한 축제가 마련됐다. 

부산에서만 즐길 수 있는 화려하고 감동적인 지상 최대의 불꽃향연 
지난 달 24일 ‘제11회 부산불꽃축제’가 광안리해수욕장 일원에서 역대 최대의 불꽃 향연을 펼쳤다. 이날 부산불꽃축제를 보기위해 모인 인파는 광안리해수욕장에 43만 명, 광안리 해변도로 15만 명, 수변공원 11만 명 등 총 130만여 명의 국내․외 관람객들의 가슴에 커다란 감동을 주면서 50여 분간 화려하고 웅장하게 부산의 가을 밤하늘에 펼쳐졌다. 올해 불꽃쇼는 불꽃의 연출 공간을 기존 1개소에서 3개소로 확대하여 이기대~광안리해수욕장~동백섬이 이어지도록 U자형으로 변경하는 것은 물론 불꽃연화가 설치되는 바지선 대수를 6대(2014년)에서 10대(2015년)로 대폭 확대 했다. 이 때문에 관람객들은 관람 장소별로 색다른 연출을 볼 수 있는 것은 물론 더욱 화려한 불꽃 연출을 볼 수 있었다. 이는 연출의 다채로움 뿐 아니라 광안리 해수욕장에 몰리는 관람객을 분산하는 효과를 가져왔다. 부산시는 앞으로도 일본 대마도현과의 장기적인 교류를 이끌어 나갈 계획이다. 11회를 맞은 부산불꽃축제는 철저한 준비와 함께 성숙한 시민의식이 빛났다는 평가다. 올해 불꽃축제는 많은 인파가 광안리를 찾아 혹시나 발생할 수 있는 안전사고를 걱정하였으나, 부산시의 철저한 준비와 경찰, 소방 등 유관기관간의 긴밀한 상호 협력으로 단 한건의 안전사고 없이 깨끗하고 안전한 귀가가 이뤄졌다. 부산시 관계자는 "올해 불꽃축제는 무엇보다 연출규모를 사상최대의 규모로 확대했고, 관광상품 좌석의 가능성과 잠재력을 볼 수 있었다"며 "성숙한 시민의식을 발휘해 사고 없이 축제를 마무리 할 수 있게 도와준 시민들에게도 감사드린다"고 말했다. 

Youth 200,000 + Creative Job Fair (Korea Job Fair 2015)
Youth 200,000 + Creative Job Fair was held at BEXCO on 16 last month. The fair targeted for the young people living in Busan, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang Province. 65 affiliated and partner companies of Lotte, Doosan, Hyundai Heavy Industries and LG participated in the fair and carried out employment procedures including job interviews. 51 of local SMEs also participated and hired 380 employees in the fields of desk job, overseas business, R&D, programming and engineering. The fair ran ‘Creative Economy Booth’ for startup support and ‘Youth Employment Policy Promotion Booth’ for providing job information. Job Consulting Booth run by Youth Committee’s Youth Bus, on the other hand, provided consultations on career path and making resume, and Seminar Booth provided a special lecture by a member of Youth Committee Younghun Kang as well as recruitment interview by Doosan. An official of Busan Metropolitan City said “The government and private companies worked together to hold the fair. We hope that the fair will help reduce youth unemployment and providing talented manpower for both SMEs and major companies.”

Busan International Seafood & Fisheries Expo 2015
Busan Metropolitan City and BEXCO announced that Busan International Seafood & Fisheries Expo 2015 held on 29th to 31th last month was the largest scale this year as 11 high officials of coastal states participated in the event, 396 companies from 26 countries set up 823 booths, and the number of Korean buyers and visitors recorded 14,000, a 10% increase on last year. The focus of the expo this year was to pioneer new fishing grounds and to improve trade conditions. Mayor Byeongsoo Seo and Deputy Minister of Oceans and Fisheries promoted friendship with delegates from 11 countries including Oumar Gueye (Marine Minister of Senegal), Deputy Minister of Agriculture (Moroco) and Kevin Sage-EL, Director of Agriculture & Trade of the US Embassy to Seoul. The Senegalese government asked Mayor on 29 October to build a small ship repairing dockyard and Mayor gave a positive answer to do it with local shipbuilders in Busan. Meanwhile, the export consultation held by BEXCO, KOTRA and Korea Fishery Trade Association carried out 742 trade consultations and drew contracts totalling $600M, a 5% increase on last year. Also, the domestic business consultation invited 21 distribution companies including Nongshim, Lotte Mart, National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives and E-mart. 16 foreign companies and 45 other domestic companies also participated and the organizers carried out 83 consultations to draw $30M with signing 35 contracts worth $5M. Apart from the expo, various events including Symposium of Fishery Sciences Association of Korea and by Korea Marine Administration Council tool place and 3,000 industry officials participated.

The 11th Busan Fireworks Festival
The 11th Busan Fireworks Festival was held on 24 last month at Gwangalli Beach. 1.3 million people from both home and abroad watched the beautiful fireworks which lasted for 50 minutes. The City facilitated 2 more spaces for fireworks this year and lined up the areas from Igidae Cliff to Gwangalli Beach to Dongbaekseom Island and created a U shape line. Also, the City increased the number of barges which ignite the fireworks to 10 from 6 last year. Thanks to this new arrangement, the spectators enjoyed a variety of fireworks from different angles by dispersing themselves to wide areas. Meanwhile, Busan plans to keep continuing exchanges with Tsushima, Japan. During the festival, there was not a single incident thanks to a close cooperation between the City, police station and fire station and the event for this reason was high praised by many people. An official of Busan Metropolitan City said “We held the event in the largest scale this year and saw a potential of promoting tourism products next year. Also, we are very happy that the festival was finished without a single incident and we show our gratitude to the citizens and the staffs.”
