하나님이 역사하심에 ‘신유의 은사’가 임하다
“기네스북 등재된 세계최대 성경필사본과 치유의 힘으로 사역”

‘참 말씀’의 대리인들은 총 66권으로 된 성경을 정리하고 필사하면서 주 예수의 권능과 긍휼함이 배고픔을 달랜 오병이어의 기적, 나병 환자들을 치유하는 사역에 대한 믿음으로 더욱 커진다고 믿었다. 지난 1992년 기네스북에 등재된 세계 최대 성경 한글 필사본을 완성한 하태수 목사는 기적과 영광의 힘을 자신에게 주어진 치유 사역으로 행하는 것으로 유명하다. 그의 보상을 바라지 않는 ‘치유의 기적’이 만들어낸 가치, 능력의 본질에 대해 정리해 본다. 

말씀을 기록한 자, 치유의 힘을 얻은 참 제자의 길
세계 최대의 필사 성경전서는 바로 한국에 있다. 예수서울교회 하태수 목사가 직접 필사한 가로 85㎝, 세로 125㎝, 무게 78㎏에 달하는 성경전서는 규모로 1992년 기네스북에 등재되기도 했지만, 모세의 행적에서 사도 요한의 계시에 이르기까지 1,600여 년간의 인류사를 단 한 사람이 필사한 것과 그 계기 때문에 더욱 유명하다. 하 목사는 “감히 한 인간으로서 세계에서 가장 큰 필사본을 만들고자 하는 희망으로 올리는 기도에 성령이 임함을 느꼈다. 이에 따라 허리 디스크로 고생하고 끼니를 잇기 힘든 상황에서도 하루 12시간씩 평안한 마음으로 17개월간의 필사를 마쳤고 인류가 걸어야 할 길과 예수님의 제자로서 사역하는 의미를 깨닫게 되었다”고 말한다.

이보다 더 놀라운 것은 하 목사 역시 나병 환자들 앞에서 발한 예수님의 권능을 일부 이어받아 불치병 환자를 치유하는 기적을 행하고 있다는 점이다. “이러한 능력은 나환자촌에서 사역을 하던 중 복음을 전파하고 고통 받는 사람들을 치유할 방법을 얻고자 함에서 비롯된 것이다. 세상이 ‘신유의 은사’라고 부르는 이 힘은 온전히 예수님의 능력이 현실에서도 역사하심을 증명한다. 그렇기에 이 힘은 은혜의 증거이자 능력이며, 현대 의학으로 풀 수 없는 불치병으로 고통 받는 이들에게 지난 84년도부터 치유라는 희망을 주었다” 하 목사가 치유한 병에는 현대인들의 고질병인 암과 중풍, 백혈병 등도 있었고, 투병으로 고통스러워하다 죽음으로 편안해지고자 체념하던 환자들도 치유되어 현실로 돌아와 ‘주님의 영광’을 찬양하게 되었다고 한다. 이렇듯 하 목사의 사역을 체험한 신도들이 성령의 기적을 믿으며 더욱 신심이 깊어진 과정들은 600여 개의 동영상으로 남겨져, 지금도 ‘치유의 역사’라는 이름으로 추앙받으며 세간에 오르내리고 있다.

또한, 미스터리 엑스파일, 원력, 진짜 이야기, 뿌리 방송 등 방송출연을 통해 그간 치유의 역사를 입증하기도 했다. 하 목사는 “예수님이 이 땅에서 병의 원인을 말씀으로 남기시고 힘의 대리인들이 이어받아 사역을 하는 것이다. 그렇기에 치유의 뜻을 믿는 사람들은 치유의 힘이 성경에 있음을 믿는다. 내가 받은 은혜의 선물이 더욱 가치 있는 이유는 하나님의 뜻을, 사역을 행하는 동시에 전할 수 있기 때문”이라며 겸양하며 믿음의 비결을 설명했다. 

성령치유센터 건립하여 기적을 신뢰로 이어갈 것
믿음의 건실함에 대해 하 목사는 “성도들의 신뢰를 받는 정통 복음의 전달이라는 본래의 목적에 충실해야 한다고 믿는다. 모임과 친목 형식으로는 한국 교회의 권위와 믿음을 세우기 어렵다. 그렇기에 이웃을 돕고 신뢰를 얻는 사역으로써 믿음을 공고히 하는 것이 중요하다. 교만을 버리고 믿음을 행하는 곳에 예수님의 기적이 따른다. 그렇기에 예수님의 제자로서 얻은 ‘신유의 은사’는 언제나 조건 없이 행해진다.

비용이나 권위 신장의 목적이 아닌, 전도의 한 방법으로서 말씀을 전하는데 행하라는 사역의 본질을 지키고 있다”고 단언했다. 그래서 종교라는 이름으로 치유를 행한 뒤 금품을 요구하거나, 치유를 위해 부상을 입히는 일은 없다. 과도한 감성으로 전체주의에 경도되어 행하는 기적도 아니다. 하 목사의 기적은 언제나 제자의 본분을 지켜 성경이 말씀하시듯 예수님과 열두 제자의 일화와 전도과정을 따른다. 그래서 모든 과정은 성경에 대한 정확한 해석과 기도에서 시작되어 성령을 체험하는 것에서부터 시작된다. “많은 성도들은 치유를 통해 성령을 체험하는 것 외에도, 말씀이 전하는 진리를 알고자 하는 바람을 갖고 있다. 오랜 필사를 통해 성경의 진리에 더 가까이 다가설 수 있었기에 그 점을 신도들에게 가능한 많이 전해주고 싶다.

나의 설교를 듣고 공감하는 성도들 중에서도 기적을 행하는 능력을 보이기도 하여, 예수님의 제자로서 행하는 삶에 보람을 느낀다” 그렇게 하 목사에게 감화되고 성령이 임하여 제자의 길을 걷는 성도들의 힘이 모이면서, 교회에서는 성령 치유 센터를 건립하고 있다고 한다. 지금은 성도들의 방문과 전화로 복음을 전하지만, 센터가 생기면 전국 및 해외에서도 찾아와 이 치유의 기적을 체험하고 신심이 더 깊어진 성도들이 늘기를 바라는 마음에서다. 성경의 기적을 말씀의 대리인으로, 치유하는 목회자로서 전하는 하 목사와 성도들은 오로지 예수님께 영광을 돌린다는 겸양과 나눔, 믿음으로써 진정한 사역의 의미를 깊이 되새기게 한다. 진리는 성경에 있음을, 그리고 성령의 권능을 믿는 성도들에게 영적인 고양과 기적은 앞으로도 언제나 함께 할 것이다.

The path of a true disciple who gained the healing power from Jesus
The largest bible manuscript is in Korea. It is written by Hah and it weighs 78kg with the size of 85cm x 125cm. It was listed in the Guinness Book of World's Records in 1992. Pastor Hah said "I decided to make the world's largest bible manuscript and I felt the Holy Spirit responding to my prayer. I was suffered from discs in my spine but I wrote 12 hours a day for 17 months to complete the book." Like Jesus did, Hah has been performing miracles for lepers with the power Jesus sent to him.

Hah said "I received the power when I was working and spreading God's Word in a leper's village. The world called this power as 'The Healing Hand of Paul'. It means that Jesus's power is still working at the moment we are living. Therefore, the power is the proof of omnipotence and kindness of God and I has given a hope and performed the power to those who have an incurable disease since 1984." Hah cured cancer, stroke and leukemia and the patients became ardent Christians and praised the glory of God. The healing process was made into 600 video images and is being watched by many with much praise to God. In addition, Hah appeared on various TV programs such as Mystery X File, Wonryeok, Real Story and KGB TV to prove his miraculous performance of healing. 

Hah said "Jesus explained the cause of diseases in word and His representatives put the word into practice. Therefore, the believers know that the healing power comes from the Bible. The kind gift God sent to me is very valuable as I can spread God's Word and cure patients at the same time."

Building a spiritual healing center
Hah said "I believe that pastors must spread a true meaning of the Bible. Various club activities within a church are not enough to establish the authority and trust of the Korean church but helping neighbors with a sincere heart can do the job. The miracles of Jesus happens where there is faith without one's own pride. Therefore, The Healing Hand of Paul gained through Jesus happens unconditionally. We must spread the Gospel according to God's Word but not to one's own authority and benefit."

Hah never asked a reward for healing nor caused any damages to the body of a patient in the name of God. Hah's healing is based on the teachings of Jesus and the mission of the 12 disciples. All the process of the healing starts at right understanding of the Bible and pray and ends at experiencing the Holy Spirit. Hah said "Many believers want to know not only about experiencing the Holy Spirit but the true meaning of the Bible. In this respect, writing of the world's largest bible manuscript made me get closer to the truth and to the believers. I feel worth when some of my disciples show a miracle of Jesus." 

Hah's disciples were much impressed by his teachings and miracles. So they gathered together their strength to build a spiritual healing center. Currently, the disciples are spreading the Gospel by making a visit or a phone call but the center is expected to enable them to invite believers from the whole nation and the world so that they can experience the healing power. Hah and his disciples and the believers always ascribe the glory of their lives to Jesus and they are determined to spread God's Word to the world.
