나눔건설은 2009년 설립된 전문건설업체로 도장, 미장방수조적, 시설물 유지보수, 옥외광고물 설치 등 4개 면허를 보유하고 있다. 기업부설 연구소를 설립해 신기술 개발 및 원가절감을 통해 경쟁력 강화를 실현하고 있으며, 국내 유수 건설업체들의 협력 회사로서 신뢰를 기반으로 한 고품질 및 철저한 사후 관리 등으로 지난해 국토부 주관 건설업 평가(2014년도)에서 건설협력 증진 대상(국토부 장관상)을 수상하기도 했다. 

현재 자본금 7억원으로 지난해 매출 156억 원을 마크했으며, 올해는 170억 원을 상회할 것으로 기대돼 매출과 아울러 더욱더 내실있는 기업으로 성장해 나갈 것으로 기대하고 있다. 이 회사 이정학 대표는 “그동안 축적된 경험과 기술개발을 바탕으로 직원 간 소통과 끊임없는 혁신을 통해 직원과 회사가 함께 성장해 나갈 것”이라고 강한 의지를 보였다. 시공은 물론 그 외적인 부분까지 R&D 투자에 열을 올릴 만큼 기술력을 중요시 하는 이 대표의 철학이 녹아 있는 것이 사내 연구소다. 

연구소는 장기적으로 새로운 사업영역을 개척해 나갈 원동력으로 건설 외적인 부분까지도 고려 대상이라는 게 이 대표의 설명이다. 이처럼 나눔건설은 급변하는 건설문화와 제반 환경에 순응하며 임직원 모두가 책임있는 관리 경영을 통해 안정된 시공, 맞춤형 디자인, 합리적인 가격과 사후 관리 등 고객의 요구에 부응하는 새로운 트렌드를 창조해 온 전문 건설기업이다.  

친환경 소재와 디자인
무엇보다 나눔건설은 친환경 자재를 사용하는 것이 강점. 환경오염이 심화되고 새집 증후군 및 자연파괴에 대한 경감심이 갈수록 고조되고 있는 상황에서 인간의 주거환경 역시 자연과 공존하고 지속적인 환경보전을 이룰 수 있는 건축물이 필요하다는 게 이정학 대표의 지론이다. 이같은 이 대표의 신념은 환경 친화적인 디자인과 건축 소재로도 현실화된다. 단열, 방수, 방음 등에 효과적인 자재를 위해 기술 개발을 독려하고 있다.

이 대표는 “불우 청소년, 독거 노인 등 사회적 소외 계층에 대한 꾸준한 기부와 장학금 지원을 통해 그들에게 희망과 미소를 줄 수 있어 기업으로서의 보람을 느낀다”라고 말했다. 이같은 나눔의 의미는 내부적으로도 전 직원이 공유할 수 있는 투명 경영을 실천하는 것으로 나타난다. 주기적으로 경영진과 근로자 모두가 재무상황 및 회계처리에 대한 구체적 현황 및 피드백 등을 통해 임직원 모두가 주인이 되는 기업을 추구해 왔으며, 이같은 투명경영을 통해 축적된 노사 간 신뢰가 이 회사의 미래를 더욱 밝게 해 준다.

Nanumenc co.,ltd. is a specialty construction company possessing four licenses in the fields of painting, plastering/masonry/water proofing, facility maintenance and billboard installation. The company striving to enhance competitiveness through developing new technology and reducing costs by establishing an annex research institute is a partnership company with leading constructors of the country. With high quality based on confidence and thorough post management, Nanumenc won the grand prize for increasing construction cooperation in the evaluation on building companies(2014) last year from the Land and Maritime Affairs Ministry.

With the current capital of 700 million won, the company achieved its sales of 15.6 billion won last year and this year it is expected to reach 17.0 billion and become a more substantial enterprise. Lee Jung-hak, president of this company, revealed his strong will by saying, “We will build up with the staff and company together through communication among the staff and constant innovation based on the experience and development of technology piled up so far.”

Its annex research institute is an embodiment of president Lee’s philosophy of attaching importance to technological power, who has invested in R&D not just for construction work but also for exterior parts. President Lee explains that the institute is even considering parts outside construction for prime mover to cultivate a new sphere of business in the long term.

Eco-friendly materials and design
As its important strength, Nanumenc is using eco-friendly materials. With deepening environmental pollution and higher warning against sick house syndrome and natural disaster, president Lee’s pet theory is that human environment of residence requires buildings that can coexist with nature and accomplish continued environmental conservation. President Lee’s such belief is actually supported by eco-friendly design and building materials, too. He is encouraging the development of technology on effective materials for insulation, water proofing, soundproofing, etc. President Lee emphasized, “Eco-friendly business administration will be a precious asset for our descendants, leaderstobe in our country.”

For president Lee who is such proactive, it seems natural that he should consider the socially weak and put sharing into practice. For the past six years since foundation, he has never failed to realize his management philosophy of returning the corporate profits to society, which is evident from the company name. He is going on assisting Anyang-city Senior Citizens Association, youth in charge of their family and other places in diverse ways.

Consideration to the socially weak
President Lee said, “I feel happy when I can deliver the message of hope to the socially weak such as disadvantaged youth, old people living alone, etc. through continued donations and supporting scholarships.”
He practices the meaning of sharing internally, too, by carrying on with transparent management that can be shared among the entire staff. He has been seeking for an enterprise owned by all executives and staffers through regular concrete present condition and feedback on financial situation and accounting procedure, while confidence between labor and management piled up such transparent management is serving to brighten the future of the company.

Since the very beginning, president Lee has aimed at business administration based on confidence and kept to the corporate social responsibility however hard things may have been. “I will keep at my efforts to give hope to needy neighbors so the company’s sustainability and perpetuity are need for this purpose too. I will do my best on the front line so that company members may be united to make proper and transparent management possible.”

Actually, president Lee’s will has served as the base for quick growth in a short period of time and this is expected to last until ten’s and hundred’s anniversary of the company.
