오래 사는 것, 건강하게 사는 것에서 나아가 ‘아름답게 사는 것’을 추구하는 시대가 도래하면서 뷰티미용 산업은 눈부신 성장세를 보이고 있다. 한 연구결과 따르면 피부과, 화장품, 미용서비스 등 뷰티산업 고객이 중산층에 이어 일반 대중으로 확대되면서 산업계 전반에서 관심이 폭증하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 국내 시장은 연평균 10.1%의 고성장을 기록하며 11.9조원의 거대 시장으로 급부상했다.

국내 최고의 뷰티미용 교육기관, 수빈아카데미
뷰티미용에 대한 대중들의 관심이 높아지면서 이 분야로의 진출을 희망하는 사람들의 움직임도 분주해졌다. 그 가운데서도 단연 많은 이들이 주목하는 곳이 바로 ‘수빈아카데미’이다. 전국의 다양한 미용뷰티 전문교육기관 중에서도 수빈아카데미는 27년이라는 오랜 역사와 전통, 체계적이고 전문적인 커리큘럼에 기초해 수많은 인재를 배출하며 명성을 쌓아왔다.

국가자격증 취득 위한 맞춤형 교육 실시
10년이 넘는 시간동안 지역의 뷰티인재 양성을 위해 힘쓰고 있는 김선미 대표는 “저희는 창조적 지성과 문화적 시야로 문화예술 발전에 폭넓게 기여하는 ‘예술인’, 국제적 감각을 갖추고 국가 발전에 기여하는 ‘전문인’, 자기 개발과 사회봉사를 통해 사회에 보탬이 되는 ‘봉사인’ 양성이라는 교육목표 아래 뷰티미용 분야의 스페셜리스트 육성에 온 힘을 쏟고 있습니다”라고 밝혔다. 이를 위해 광주수빈에서는 앞선 스타일링 기법과 메이크업 기법을 끊임없이 연구하고 있으며, 김선미 대표 또한 조선대학교 미용전공 박사 과정을 진행하며 새로운 트렌드를 발 빠르게 수용하고, 보다 양질의 제공을 제공하기 위한 노력을 다하고 있다. 

교육생들의 역량 강화와 교육의 질적 향상을 위해 끊임없이 노력해 온 수빈아카데미는 올 초 네일아트 국가자격증반을 개설·운영하며 네일아트 예비창업자를 위한 실무 중심의 교육을 제공하고 있다. 김 대표는 “네일아트 국가자격증 취득반에서는 네일아트를 처음 접하거나, 현업 종사자, 기존의 민간자격증을 소지한 사람 등 레벨에 맞는 맞춤형 교육을 실시하고 있습니다. 자격증 시험과목인 네일개론, 공중위생관리학, 네일실전기술, 네일미용실무 등을 다루며, 네일살롱, 네일샵 등 현장의 스타일에 적합한 실무 중심의 수업방식을 도입했습니다”라고 설명했다. 또한 2016년부터 국가기술자격증으로 정식 채택되는 메이크업 분야 과정도 준비하고 있다고 밝혔다.

다양한 취업처 발굴로 실질적인 지원 제공
광주수빈아카데미에서는 각 대학과의 MOU 체결을 통해 관련학과 진학에도 힘쓰고 있다. 연2회의 입시설명회와 학생 1:1상담을 진행하고 있으며, 이러한 노력에 힘입어 2015년도 입학희망자 전원이 관련학과에 입학하는 성과를 낳았다. 

김선미 대표는 “2015년도 상반기에는 강사 트레이닝과정을 통해 미용뷰티관련 교육자의 꿈을 꾸고 있는 교육생들을 지원하는 데에 힘썼습니다. 이 과정을 통해 배출된 인원들은 방과후 실기교사로서 중·고등학교에 출강하며 메이크업, 네일아트, 천연화장품 등의 과목을 교육하고 있습니다”라고 설명했다. 그녀는 올 하반기에는 ‘토탈샵’을 운영하며 메이크업과 네일, 천연화장품 및 캔들 디퓨져 제작과 체험의 장을 제공하고자 한다고 밝혔다. 또한 외부 전문가 초청 강연을 통해 취업과 창업을 준비하는 이들에게 실질적인 도움을 제공하고자 한다고 덧붙였다.

“Helping the job search and start-up with a hands-on training having professionalism” 
As it is coming up the time of living beautifully from living long and healthy, the beauty industry is growing up remarkably. According to a study, dermatology, cosmetics, and beauty care service are moving to the public from the middle class, which means everyone is interested in being beautiful. Especially, Korean domestic market is a huge market of 11.9 trillion recording a high growth of 10.9% at annual average. 

SOOBIN academy, the best beauty educational organization 
As people are interested in a beauty care increasingly, many people want to have a job in this industry. Mostly, they are aware of SOOBIN academy more than any other training center. It has a 27-year-history and a tradition as well; so many graduates are working in the real field. 

SOOBIN academy established in 1989 started the training of make-up and styling for entertainers but now it covers a total beauty education and built up and run the SUBIN ART training college with a credit bank system. This course has contents of a nail shop, a skin shop and a hair shop such a successful beauty shop in an alley and gets a big applaud due to practical startup information and knowhow helping people who are actually thinking of opening their shops. 

Customizing education for acquiring national licenses 
Over 10 years, CEO Kim Sun-Mi has been doing her best to train excellent talented workers in the field. She said, “We are pushing ourselves to educate them to be an artist who can contribute for the culture and art widely, an expert who can contribute for the national growth and a volunteer who can help the society throughout the self-improvement and social volunteering work with our creative intelligence and cultural view.” CEO Kim also said she is doing the best to give a great quality of service and taking the trend as soon as possible while taking a doctorial course of beauty department at Chosun University. 

Early in this year, SOOBIN academy opened a nail art class for national license and run the class with more hands-on experience for next startup people. CEO Kim explained, “In a nail art class for the license, we are teaching them depending students’ experiences. Some used to work in that field before but others are already having private license. So, fitting the level to each, we are training them. The subjects are nailing introduction, public health management, practical nail technique, nail beauty work and so on. Besides, we are taking hands on programs so that they can get used easier.” More than this, she talked about preparing for makeup class that will be a national licensing field officially from 2016. 

Supplying a realistic supporting with finding various workplaces 
Gwangju SOOBIN academy is trying to go to a related department of college with MOU agreement with some colleges. They are proceeding a private consulting and holding the entrance introduction presentation twice per year. Because that effort, students who wanted to go to college passed the exam as a great result. 

CEO Kim Sun-Mi explained, “Half of this year 2015, we put lots of effort to teach people who wanted to be an instructor of beauty industry via training course. Students from that course are working at the middle and high school as a technical teacher and teach makeup, nail art and natural cosmetics.” Her next plan for 2015 is that she is running a total shop for make-up and nail care and natural cosmetics and even candle diffuser making and experiencing space for people. 

Gwangju SOOBIN academy is wholehearted supporting and cheering up people whose who want to work in this beauty industry via a startup program to reduce the rate of failure, differentiated training programs, beauty course application for school and finding new workplace. CEO Kim Sun-Mi said, “Beauty industry is not just a sparkling industry. There are so much patience and effort behind it.
