What are comfortable eye glasses? Customized to the condition of my eyes? Or lightness and good wearing sensation? Yu's thought started from here. His conclusion of comfortable glasses is at diversity alongside technical precision. In other words, they have to fulfill the wearer's needs. 
 
Part1. Customer satisfaction should always be consistent. 
The keyword of Nurikkum Eye Care is equipment. As Yu took precision of glasses most seriously he needed to introduce topnotch equipment at the initial stage and the store is now facilitated exclusively with cutting edge 3D equipment that was approved by German company Carl Zeiss alongside running Eye Care Center also. Yu says "most optical shops are basically kind and many products are being offered at cheap price but saying it's the best products. Of course it's basic to be precise and comfortable when wearing glasses. Our strong point, however, is investment in our state of the art equipment. It was most important for me to draw customer's attention by showing our equipment." When asked about how he carries out on/off line activities to spread Nurikkum to the world, he said "I don't actually have any specially method or strategy but whichever way they heard about my store and pay a visit, I just focus on providing excellent services to each customer." Alongside providing excellent customer services, Yu is still in thought to find a way to satisfy the preference of each customer.
 
Part2. How to provide better services?
It took four years for Nurikkum to be recognized. It was the time that Yu had to endure ordeals. Yu says "some industry people said that I'd gone mad because I invested all the profits in equipment. But I thought it was more important to gain trust from customers than to gain short term profits. I needed to see further if I was not to close the business in one or two years." Yu opened his first store and experienced a failure when he was 27 but he started again with a new brand name 'Nurikkum Eye Care' in the basement of a building. The location might seem disadvantageous but Yu could try various experiments due to the relatively low operating cost. Yu says "I was not in a hurry and had time to think about how to improve problems when choosing and wearing glasses rather than to increase sales. And this is still my philosophy and I think I was born to be a optician." With an appropriate mind in his business, it seems that Yu knows what is customer services. 
 
Part3. Providing a comfortable and satisfactory day
Nurikkum Eye Care is facilitated with light eye glasses frames and excellent customer service system. They provide the wearers comfort, lightness and unique design through famous eye glasses brands. Yu says "we are one of a few stores which treats LINDBERG eye glasses frame (Denmark). It's known as the last light eye glasses frame and is the brand that let the world know the eye glasses made of titanium. It's very famous among eye wear manias." 
Meanwhile, the staff in Nurikkum always get tired. They have to analyse the preference of each customer and to participate in weekly training. But they are happy to do it as it is also related to developing themselves as it is important to provide excellent customer services. Yu says "I must be the one who most tired. It can encourage staff and brighten up the store. If I focus only on sales, how can I give a motivation to my staff? People naturally want to develop themselves and I want walk side by side with them and this will eventually lead us to provide excellent customer services." 
 
Part4. Executing one's conviction
Yu opened an additional store, facilitated with premium test system, on the ground floor last year and they are expecting 2015 as an important year of their business. Since opening his first store, Yu has been putting his conviction into practice. When asked about his conviction and action, Yu said "whenever the moment come, I always chose 'action'. I can do many things in thoughts and plans but if I don't actually try it, I cannot grow up. Having two stores with a state of the art facilities now, I think, is the result of my action. I feel emotional by a good feedback from my customers and therefore selling eye glasses not only means selling itself but also communication with people and if we bear this in our mind we can certainly grow more." It was touching to hear what Yu said. Many people are proud of their job and business items but we are often neglect the fact that communication between heart and heart, at the end of the day, is the key for human relationships. 
In that terms, I can surely say that the dream of Nurikkum Eye Care in 2015 is about 'people' and 'affection'. Yu says that every year he has been through was special. Power Korea support Yu and Nurikkum Eye Care.
