전자담배액상 시장의 떠오르는 강자 ‘퀸비’

‘퀸비 액상’으로 시장의 새로운 패러다임 구축

JM KOREA의 Queen Bee는 미국 내 전자담배 시장에서 큰 호응을 얻고 있는 DIY Flavor Shack 社와 정식 제품 공금 계약을 맺고 약 3개월의 기간 동안 한국시장에 맞는 제품으로 탄생된 제품이다. 퀸비는 오로지 미국 식품의약국(FDA)의 승인을 받은 원료만 사용되며 유태인 율법에 따라 주어지는 코셔(Kosher)와 미국 약전기관(USP)의 인증을 받은 고품질 VG와 PG 액상의 원료만을 사용한다. 즉, 프리미엄급 원료만 사용하기에 타사 제품에 비해 믿고 사용할 수 있다는 말이다. 특히 VG와 PG의 비율이 보통 6:4 비율로 이뤄지지만 퀸비는 5:5의 비율로 맞춰져 다른 액상에 비해 연기의 양도 많고 금방 질리는 현상을 최소화시켰다. 이처럼 최상의 원료만을 고집하기에 이미 사용자들에게는 업계 최고의 제품이라 불리고 그 명성에 맞게 액상이 쉽게 갈변되거나 코일에 찌꺼기 등의 발생이 적어 중국산 액상에 비해 안전성면에서 우수하다는 평가를 듣고 있다. 제이엠코리아 김재룡 대표는 “이미 중국산 제품의 시선은 좋지 않다. 점차적으로 담배와 금연의 중간단계 역할을 하게 될 전자담배는 그 시장이 머지않아 확대되기 때문에 질 좋은 원료를 사용한 제품으로 소비자에게 다가가야 할 것”이라며 “이미 기존의 해외 담배제조회사에서도 전자담배에 관련된 제품들이 쏟아져 나올 것이고 그로 인해 시장은 다양성을 추구하며 크게 변화할 것”이라고 전했다.  

이처럼 이미 시중에 판매되는 제품은 대부분 중국산 저가 향료 및 액상 니코틴을 밀수입해  인증되지 않은 전자담배 액상으로 유해성에 대한 우려가 점점 커져가고 있다. 이런 문제점을 대비해 제이엠코리아는 안정성이 검증된 Queen Bee를 출시했고 전 제품에 사용되는 액상니코틴의 경우 학계와 전문연구기관들로부터 전자담배사용에 대한 안전성이 검증받은 것이다.

Only the material of VG and PG liquid is used, which is given according to Jewish Kosher law (Kosher) and certified by the United States Pharmacopoeia Authority (USP) quality.
