Fayston Preparatory of Suji wins Korea Education Industrial Awards National Assembly Education Committee prize for two years in a row in 2022 and 2023. The Christian school targets to be in top 10 international educational institutions within 10 years with its excellent curriculum built on Christian virtues and community.

Nestled in Suji, Yongin, Fayston runs K-12 courses of American Curriculum and 706 students are currently enrolled at the Suji Campus. Fayston is attracting attention as the largest Christian international school in the metropolitan area and the most prestigious educational institution in the southern region of Gyeonggi Province.

The school focuses on listening to and accepting the opinions of others, emphasizing the understanding of different countries and cultures, which is the goal of international schools, rather than education solely for entering prestigious universities.

Daniel K. Paxitzis, Headmaster of the school, points out Christianity and internationality as the two core differences the school has. He says “As a Christian school, we place great importance on teaching in the invisible realm beyond English, mathematics, social studies, and science. Through various activities, we encourage students to find ways of living together, serving the underprivileged, and learning devotion and love through patience, challenge and passion. It is paramount important that they build open minded-ness as well as academic knowledge and achievement.”

Among many programs, transcontinental travel, vision camp, mission camp, overseas volunteer, school festival and sports exchange are well known and received with high praise.

To be the most prestigious educational institution in southern Gyeonggi

Humility as an important element to be a good international school

Fayston opened Gwanggyo Christian Art School (GCAS) in January this year. Over the past 13 years, Fayston has produced graduates from prestigious art and music schools at home and abroad, such as Berklee College of Music, Johns Hopkins Peabody College of Music, FIT, RISD, Frett, Parsons, Rochester, SAIC, Emily Carr, Washu, Tufts, and Otis.

Using this the momentum, Gwanggyo Christian Art School plans to nurture talented people in the fields of art, music, performing arts, and media arts.

With more than 70% of students entering prestigious schools and universities home and abroad, Fayston is accredited by the Middle States Office of Education (MSA CESS), AP certified (25 subjects), and is operated with an American private education curriculum that provides an AP Capstone Diploma.

The school has grown into the largest international educational institution in southern Gyeonggi Province in 13 years since its establishment, and operates a 16,528 square meter campus in Yongin and also an American campus in New Jersey, United States.

Meanwhile, the Fayston Damyang Campus completed the construction of the admissions hall in December 2022 and is set to finish the education hall in June 2025, aiming to open the fall semester of that year.
