Nestled in Poil-dong, Uiwang City, Haechan Forest nursery values highly of UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. It focuses on building creativity, partnership, self-directed learning and team play. The English gym class specially is designed step by step for children to train not only their physical strength and teamwork but English abilities also. The coordination program in the gym class, in particular, helps children increase body movement and flexibility so that they can respond quickly to unexpected environment. Gaon Go, Director of Haechan Forest, and teachers gather together on the table once a week to talk about improvements of programs and introducing more creative educational contents. Through this meeting, a variety of programs are introduced and applied such as tea ceremony, field trip, cooking, drone, coding, block building, reading and writing, watching movies, science challenge, playing musical instruments, carpentry and learning Chinese. Apart from offline programs, Haechan Forest is running two online courses: blended learning and flipped learning. The two courses are organically connected with home schooling in a situation like social distancing caused by the recent virus attack.
