Onemount, the theme park in Ilsan, is launching Onecastle, a kids sport academy, on April 15. The programs of the academy include brain sports, coding, golf, swimming, skating, language and many more. Its goal is to raise children’s ability in scientific thinking power and to foster talented future global leaders.
“We have spent more than a year to open Onecastle. We focused on development of effective and efficient educational contents and programs and children can grow their imagination and creative thinking on this wide open platform of education. We are confident and everything is ready so you can expect a new level of educational ground” says Kim Young-mi, the director of Onecastle.
One big advantage of Onecastle is that children do not need to shift from one place to another for extracurricular activities as almost everything is within Onecastle from Taekwondo to swimming, and you name it.
“Onecastle will shift children to the wide variety of educational fields including brain sport from the common English and math education. Brain sport especially is one of the representative programs of Onecastle that covers all age groups” says Sohn Jin-ho, the team leader of the Onemount sports operation division.
Officially set to open on May 3, Onecastle will house a total of 140 children for its new level of open platform education in brain, coding, math, scientific and creative thinking and self-directed learning.
“The philosophy of Onecastle is this: “Walking along with 90% instead of making things 100%. Self-directed learning comes top priority for this while the overall curriculum is designed to foster talented global leaders and to strengthen children’s physical power through various sports activities” says the director Kim Young-mi.
