문재인 대통령, 서울국제항공우주 및 방위산업 전시회 2017(ADEX 2017) 개막식 참석
국내 최대규모의 항공우주, 방산 전시회인 서울국제항공우주 및 방위산업 전시회 2017(서울 ADEX 2017: Seoul International Aerospace &Defence Exhibition)이 지난 17일 개막했다. 아덱스 개막식에는 문재인 대통령이 참석하였으며 송영무 국방부 장관, 백운규 산업통상자원부 장관, 유영민 과학기술정보통신부 장관, 장하성 정책실장, 문미옥 과학기술보좌관 등을 비롯해 우리 육, 해, 공군 참모총장과 빈센트 브룩스 한미연합사령관, 해병대 사령관 등이 참석했다. 해외에서는 아랍 에미리트 국방장관, 이집트 방산물산부 장관, 미 태평양 공군사령관, 말레이시아 공군참모총장 등 각국의 국방 관계자들이 대거 참석했다.
문재인 대통령은 인사말에서 각국에서 온 국방, 기술 관계자들을 환영하고 "이번 전시회가 각국의 산업발전, 공동안보와 세계평화를 추구하는 상호교류의 장이 되기를 기대한다"는 말로 인사말을 열었다. 문재인 대통령은 연설 중에 우리 국산 고등훈련기인 'T50'과 다연장로켓 '천무'를 성공사례로 언급하며 우리 무기의 국산화, 첨단화를 위해 애쓰는 연구자들에게 감사의 말을 전했다. 또한 "창의와 혁신, 방산비리의 척결, 국방 R&D 역량의 강화를 주문하고 정부도 우리 무기의 해외수출을 위해 외교적 노력을 아끼지 않겠다"고 약속했다.
대통령의 연설에 이어 우리 국산 훈련기들의 시범비행이 이어졌다. 시범비행 후 문재인 대통령은 야외전시장으로 이동, 직전에 시범비행을 했던 KT-1, T-50 기체를 둘러보고 FA-50, KA-1 등에 대해서도 설명을 들었다. 공군 조종사 점퍼로 갈아입은 대통령은 전시물을 둘러보며 실내 전시장으로 이동했다.

문재인 대통령, 노동계 초청 대화와 만남의 자리 가져
지난 24일 청와대에서는 새 정부 출범 후 처음으로 문재인 대통령이 노동계를 초청해 만남을 가졌다. 노동계와의 대화 자리에는 김주영 한국노총 위원장, 박대수 한국노총 부위원장, 이성경 한국노총 사무총장 등 한국노총 지도부와 영인 핸즈식스.고암에이스 화성지역노조 위원장, 김영숙 국회환경미화원노조 위원장, 허정우 SK하이닉스 이천 노조 위원장, 류근중 자동차노련 위원장, 허권 금융노조 위원장, 안병호 영화산업노조 위원장, 김민수 청년유니온 위원장, 김준이 사회복지유니온 위원장 등 다양한 분야의 노동자들이 함께했다.
청와대는 ‘평창의 고요한 아침’ 이라는 차로 손님맞이를 했다. 평창동계올림픽을 홍보하기 위해 특별히 다섯 가지 꽃으로 제작된 블렌딩 차로 중국표현으로 ‘병배(倂配)’라고 한다. 서로 다른 차가 섞여 좋은 맛과 향을 풍기는 차로 거듭난 것처럼 이날 대화가 우리 노사 문화에 ‘새로운 병배차’가 되는 시작의 의미를 담고 있다.
문재인 대통령은 “지난 10년 노동이 국정의 파트너로 인정받지 못했다”면서 “노동계와 함께 하고 노동계의 협력을 얻어야만 노동이 존중받는 사회라는 국정 목표에 대해 한걸음 더 다가갈 수 있다"면서 함께 노력해 나가자는 당부를 전했다. 김주영 한국노총 위원장은 “대한민국의 거의 절반에 가까운 노동자들이 행복해야 대한민국이 행복하다”며, 정말 어려운 여건 속에 있는 레미콘을 비롯한 특수고용 노동자들이 좀 더 힘내고 노동이 존중받는 사회 됐으면 좋겠다는 소감을 밝혔다. 덧붙여 장시간 노동을 하고 있는 운수업계, 우정 노동자들, 그리고 특례에 묶여 있는 업종에 있는 분들의 근로시간이 줄어들어서 저녁이 있는 삶들이 꼭 이뤄졌으면 좋겠다는 바람을 이야기했다.

Moon attends ADEX 2017
President Moon attended the opening ceremony of the ADEX 2017: Seoul International Aerospace & Defense Exhibition on 17 last month. A number of high officials including the defense minister, the military chiefs of staff and Vincent K. Brooks, the chief commander of the South Korea-U.S. Combined Forces Command as well as the Arab Emirate’s defense minister, the Egyptian defense articles minister, the commander of the U.S. Pacific Air Forces and the Malaysian Air Force chief of staff attended the opening ceremony. Moon welcomed all attendees and hoped the exhibition would be a momentum to promote world peace, security and industrial development. He also encouraged Korean researchers on localization and advancement of weapons by pointing out the excellent Korean ‘T50’ and ‘Chummu’, a multiple rocket launcher. He closed his speech by promising transparency of defense industry, promotion of innovation and creativity and export of Made in Korea weapons. 

Moon meets labor leaders
President Moon invited labor leaders to the Blue House on 24 last month for the first time since his inauguration. A number of labor leaders from the Federation of Korean Trade Unions, the SK Hynix Union, the Korean Automobile & Transport Workers Federation, the Korean Financial Industry Union, the Federation of Korea Movie Workers’ Union, and the Youth Community Union attended on the day. Moon said “The labor unions have not received due respect as partners of the state for the last 10 years. I think we can create a society where labor is respected only if we can work together in cooperation.” The Federation of Korean Trade Unions leader Kim Ju-young in response said “Korea will turn into a happy nation if half of the whole laborers in Korea feel that they are happy.” Kim particularly pointed out the harsh environment of transport workers, postmen and those who work overtime and called for improvement measures.
