안희정 도지사 금산세계인삼엑스포 개막식 참석
'2017 금산세계인삼엑스포'가 지난 21일 오전 10시 충남 금산군 남이면 성곡리 개삼터에서 진행된 개삼제를 시작으로 본격적인 32일간의 대장정에 올랐다. 개삼제는 인삼을 처음 심은 개삼터에서 인삼을 재배하게 해준 진악산 산신령과 강처사에 감사를 표하며 풍년을 기원하는 행사로 이동필 조직위원장을 비롯해 박동철 금산군수, 금산군의회, 세계인삼도시연맹 관계자 등 100여명이 참석한 가운데 성대하게 열렸다. 행사는 부여군충남국악단의 첫 공연을 시작으로 화려한 막이 올랐으며, 미디어아트의 화려함과 대북의 웅장함이 어우러진 미디어퍼포먼스 ‘미디어대북&금산인삼 히스토리 영상쇼’가 펼쳐져 장내 분위기를 후끈 달궜다. 뒤이어 개막식에 참석하지 못한 문재인 대통령과 이낙연 국무총리의 축하영상 메시지는 인삼엑스포의 위상과 품격을 한층 더 높였다. 방송인 김제동의 사회로 이어진 토크콘서트는 ▲Talk1 : 생명의 뿌리, 인삼의 무한 가능성 ▲Talk2 : 세계를 향한 금산인삼 ▲Talk3 : 해외 초청인사의 즉석 인터뷰 순으로 진행됐으며, 중간 중간 가수 알리와 피아니스트 진보라, 팝페라 가수 이사벨의 축하공연이 이어져 개막식 분위기를 한층 더 고조시켰다. 마지막으로 안희정 충남도지사의 개막 세레머니로 건배 제의가 이어졌으며 빛과 움직임이 예술과 결합된 3D키네틱 공연이 화려하게 펼쳐졌고 충남소년·소녀합창단과 ‘행복을 주는 사람’ 합창을 끝으로 공식행사가 성황리에 마무리 됐다. 한편, 금산세계인삼엑스포의 개장식은 22일 오전 8시 30분, 인삼엑스포 행사장 정문 앞에서 100여명의 내빈들이 참석한 가운데 취타대 식전공연을 시작으로 개장선포와 함께 테이프 커팅식을 갖고 9시부터 정문과 동문에서 일제히 일반 관람객을 맞이했다. 

충남의 모든 정보 ‘위키백과’로 바로 알린다
충남도의 주요정책과 행정정보, 산업인프라, 관광정보 등 모든 정보가 위키백과를 통해 국내외에 정확하고 빠르게 전달된다. 도는 지난 달 19일 도청 접견실에서 안희정 지사와 한국위키미디어협회 이만재 이사장이 참석한 가운데 ‘충남 바로알림을 위한 열린혁신 업무협약’을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 위키백과는 세계적으로 인기 있는 웹사이트 목록 5위를 기록한 지식·정보 공유의 대표적 매체로, 등록 시 구글과 네이버, 다음 검색에 자동 노출된다. 다만, 위키백과는 누구든지 인터넷 사이트에 접속해 직접 지식과 정보를 올릴 수 있는 장점이 있는 반면, 관리 주체가 모호해 수록된 행정기관 관련 정보의 양과 질이 매우 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 도와 한국위키미디어협회는 이번 협약으로 충남 관련 정보의 위키백과 수록을 통해 도민이 필요한 정보를 보다 쉽고 빠르게 이용할 수 있도록 상호 협력하기로 했다. 협약에 따라 도는 행정·산업·관광 등 자료·사진을 확보해 위키백과에 입력하고 기존 외국어 홈페이지 정보와 연계해 영·중·일어 등 외국어로도 공개한다. 한국위키미디어협회는 충남도 위키백과 항목 분석 및 자문, 위키 사용법 교육과 편집자들이 콘텐츠 편집을 위해 함께 모이는 행사인 에디터톤 개최를 지원하는 역할을 맡는다. 특히 전 세계 어디서든 정보를 무료로 공유하고 쉽게 접근할 수 있어 충남도정에 대한 신뢰도 향상 및 이용자 편익증진은 물론, 지역 문화재, 관광, 농특산물, 축제정보 제공으로 관광객 유치에도 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. 안희정 지사는 “앞으로의 행정은 빅데이터를 기반으로 예측 행정, 개인 맞춤형 행정서비스를 구현하는 방향으로 전환하고 있다”면서 “이를 위해서는 다양하고 질 높은 지식·정보의 공유가 바탕이 돼야 한다”고 강조했다. 이어 안 지사는 “이번 협약을 계기로 충남도의 다양한 정보를 도민께 보고드릴 수 있도록 더욱 노력할 것”이라고 말했다.

Ahn attends opening ceremony of Geumsan Insam Festival
Ahn Hee-jung, the governor of South Chungcheong Province attended the opening ceremony of The Geumsan Insam Festival starting from September 21 to last for 32 days. 100 public and industry officials attended on the day to celebrate the opening alongside the governor Ahn. The Chungnam Korean Orchestra based in Buyeo lifted the curtain of the festival with exhilarating performance on the day followed by a media big drum and Geumsan ginseng history video image show. Kim Je-dong hosted a talk show according to each theme such as limitless possibilities of ginseng and Geumsan Insam goes global which also followed by interviews with foreign visitors. Singer Ali, pianist Jin Bo-ra and popera singer Yisabel as well as children’s choir also took the stage to liven up the mood. 

Chungnam spreads information through Wikipedia Korea
South Chungcheong Province is to deliver its information on administration, infrastructure of the industry and tourism more conveniently by using Wikipedia Korea. For this, the governor Ahn Hee-jung and the president Lee Man-jae of the Korea Wiki Media Association signed a business agreement on September 19. Wikipedia is one of the five knowledge-based websites in the world and the uploading the information is automatically exposed on Google, Naver and Daum. However, the quality and quantity of the information of Wikipedia is weak while the uploading bodies are also obscure as everybody can provide information. The signing with the Korea Wiki Media Association, therefore, is expected to improve these drawbacks. The association is to upload information including photos and the information is provided in three languages: English, Chinese and Japanese in addition to Korean. The association also takes in charge of supporting Editathon, a gathering of editors for editing the contents. The province is expecting to raise convenience of people overseas to know better about the province and to promote local industry by inviting tourists. The governor Ahn said “The future administration is evolving towards customized services based on big data. For this, the information should be provided in diversity with quality intact. So the agreement with the Korea Wiki Media Association will make a great contribution to delivering the information of the province in more convenience to the residents.”
