Movement S-FIT Sports Rehabilitation & Correction Center (CEO Park Sang-hoon)
Recovering health through 'correction exercise'
Finding the cause of unbalanced body from musculoskeletal diseases

Movement S-FIT Sports Rehabilitation & Correction Center aims at improving pains in shoulders, waist, neck, knees and joints and at correcting unbalanced body. "Correction exercise analyzes the body mechanism from which to correct unbalanced pose and movement of the body" explained CEO Park Sang-hoon of the center. An affected person starts from the test at the 'body type analysis room' of the center to check on the balance and movement of the body. Then a thorough analysis on the cause is carried out to make a comprehensive data before introducing a series of ideal correction exercises. "Making the body in balance is the basic of the exercise. Baseball players or tennis players, for example, uses one side of the body at a considerable amount of time and they tend to have an unbalance in the upper side of the body. If they keep moving the body intensively without correction, it can cause a problem in muscles and skeleton which makes them prone to injury" said Park.

Right exercise method brings you a healthy life
Park started to grow his interest in correction exercises when he was getting more curious to know about corelation between exercise and pain. "I worked as a trainer for 12 years and I witnessed often that many people complained about their pain in shoulders, joints and waist despite they exercise on a regular basis. They also did not hear what caused the pain from doctors. So I became more and more curious about the cause" said Park. With this increasing curiosity, Park came back to Korea from his career as a personal trainer overseas to push forward his research by taking a university course in kinematics. He gathered athletic trainers of the same mind and opened Movement S-FIT Sports Rehabilitation & Correction Center last year in pursuit of spreading the importance on having the right balance of the body. Park said "Like most other exercises, warm-up and warm-down are very important. In fact, doing these two basic exercises alone can prevent musculoskeletal diseases. As for the main exercise, you need to make a goal and achieve it one by one rather than reaching the point in speed as it likely causes injury. Seeking an advice from doctor or specialist when the pain prolonged is also important because they can find you the cause and the solution faster and more effectively." If you think you have a doubt about your body pose and the pain in shoulders, joints, waist and muscles stays longer, you are advised to pay a visit to Movement S-FIT Sports Rehabilitation & Correction Center or seek an advice from a doctor.
