대통령, 2016 공공기관장 워크숍 주재해
지난 달 14일 오전 2016 공공기관장 워크숍을 주재한 박근혜 대통령은 올해 공공기관 개혁의 두 축인 성과연봉제와 기능조정 과제가 차질 없이 추진될 수 있도록 해당 부처 장관과 공공기관장들이 책임감을 갖고 임해줄 것을 당부했다. 먼저 우리가 대내외의 불안요인들을 극복하고 경제 재도약을 이뤄야만 하는 어려운 고비에 서 있다고 밝힌 박 대통령은 공공개혁은 4대 부문 구조개혁을 선도해야 하며, 이를 통해 민간부문의 변화를 유도하는 개혁의 출발점으로 그 역할이 막중하다고 언급했다.

이어 박근혜 대통령은 성과 중심 조직문화 확산을 위해서는 성과 중심의 임금체계 개편이 꼭 필요하다고 강조하며, 업무성과에 따라 공정한 보상과 대우가 이루어지면 무사안일주의도 개선되고 결과적으로 조직의 생산성도 올라갈 것이라고 설명했다. 또한, 작년부터 추진하고 있는 공공기관 기능조정도 더욱 박차를 가해야 한다고 언급한 박 대통령은 공공기관이 본연의 임무를 충실히 수행하기 위해서는 환경 변화에 따른 기능점검과 기능 조정이 상시적으로 이뤄져야 한다고 강조했다.

아울러 박근혜 대통령은 올해 공공개혁 과제를 계획대로 마무리하기 위한 원칙과 자세로 직원들의 동참을 이끌기 위한 기관장들의 노력과 세부 실행 계획의 치밀한 수립 및 집행 등을 언급하고, 공공개혁은 끝까지 간다는 각오로 추진해주기를 바란다고 덧붙였다.

박근혜 대통령, 양국 간 가교 역할을 하고 있는 프랑스 동포대표 격려
아프리카 3개국 및 프랑스 국빈방문의 마지막 날인 현지시간 6월 4일 오전 박근혜 대통령은 프랑스 파리 시내 호텔에서 프랑스 동포대표들과 간담회를 갖고, 양국 간 가교 역할을 하고 있는 동포들을 격려했다. 박 대통령은 먼저 프랑스 국빈방문과 관련해, 취임 후 4년을 연달아 정상회담을 갖고 있고, 우리도 프랑스도 최적의 파트너로 창조경제, 문화융성, 그 외 신산업에 힘을 합해서 경제 발전에 서로 호혜적인 발전을 이뤄보자는 데 뜻을 같이했다고 전했다. 또한 창조경제, 문화융성에 있어서는 프랑스가 창조적이고, 문화적이고, 우리 국민들도 문화에 대한 관심과 감각과 열정이 굉장하다는 걸 볼 때 최적의 파트너라고 할 수 있다며, 신성장 동력 창출 방안 모색과 함께 미래세대 간 협력 방안도 심도 있게 논의했다고 강조했다.

이어 박근혜 대통령은 파리 국제대학촌 한국관 착공과 관련해, 3년 전 동포들과의 약속을 지킬 수 있게 돼 감회가 남달랐다며, 유학생들에게 많은 도움이 되기를 바라고 나아가 한국관이 프랑스에서 우리나라의 위상을 더욱 높이면서 우리 문화를 널리 알리는 데도 기여하게 되기를 바란다고 밝혔다. 끝으로 박근혜 대통령은 더욱더 자랑스러운 대한민국을 만들어서 후손들에게 물려줄 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다고 밝혔다.

Park presides over a workshop with heads of the administration
President Park presided over a workshop with heads of the administration on 14 last month in order to check the implementation of Performance-Driven Salary System and Functional Reform on public institutions. Park asked attendees to take initiative in implementing the 4 Reforms which is vital for boosting national economy and encouraging changes in private sectors. Park continued that Performance-Driven Salary System is a fair reward system and is necessary to raise productivity and work efficiency and Functional Reform to raise awareness of the staff about their job and responsibility. Park added that the reforms required principle, detailed implementation plan and positive attitude of the head of each department if they were to draw active participation of the staff and complete their task. 

Park encourages Koreans living in France 
During her official visit to France, President Park held a meeting with Koreans living in France and praised their contribution to playing a role of bridging the two countries. Since her inauguration, Park has held a summit talk with French President 4 years in a row and reaffirmed a strong cooperation in economy, culture and various industries between the two countries. Park particularly mentioned that Korea and France are a perfect partner especially on the fact that French have creative and advanced culture while Korean’s passion and interest in sharing difference cultures is second to none. Park continued that she was really pleased she could kept the promise made 3 years ago to build Centre Culturel Coréen à Paris in Cité internationale universitaire de Paris and hoped that the center will function to spread excellence of Korean culture to the world over France.
