Premium utility iron 'INOUT Black' breaks our stereotypes about golf clubs
The Open CEO Jo Hee-jin

The length of No.8 iron realizes 180 meters of distance
Sweet spot is the middle part of the head and the center of a golf club. When you hit the ball with the spot, the ball flies further and to the right direction you intended. The only problem is that it is not easy to hit the spot. This is the reason there are many types of golf clubs in the market to suit each different  swing. The most common club of all, however, is the iron club which then is sub-divided into long iron for long shot, middle iron and short iron. The further your body from the spot the harder you make a precise shot. You can send the ball further with long iron but it makes you difficult to make a precise shot while short iron works vice versa. But recent release of 'INOUT Black' by The Open (CEO Jo Hee-jin) has broken this stereotypes about golf clubs.

Upgrade your iron with premium utility iron 'INOUT Black’
The length of INOUT Black is 37 inches (U1 model) and 36.5 inches (U2 model) which are similar to short iron No.8 and 9. But the distance can reach to 170~180 meters like iron No.3, 4 and 5. Many beginner golfers tend to practice with the short length iron No.7 and INOUT Black, in this respect, can be an ideal choice for them as it secure a long distance with short length iron. Jo said "We focused on satisfying both distance and precision and released our first product in 2012 and the upgraded premium utility iron INOUT Black U1 and U2 this year." The recent one is applied with super resistant maraging face and the head is designed with low-centered in order to raise the ball's trajectory although they have low loft angle (U1: 22, U2: 25) like iron No. 4 and 5. Also, the head face is a little bigger than the existing ones which made the size of sweet spot by double. Jo said "INOUT Black contains all the advantages of the existing irons as well as ungraded functions."

Making only the best products
CEO Jo used to run Gaja Golf Store in Suwon for 10 years. It was 2012 that he established The Open after his passionate R&D which he carried out at Korea Polytechnic University Business Incubator. He said "5 million people are enjoying golf today. But the Korean golf goods market doesn't seem to reflect the customer demands. They are busy with price competition while the luxury foreign brands are dominating the market. But The Open only pursues quality, differentiation and innovation." The two main products of The Open are INOUT Black and Madi Shaft (improved direction and distance) and both were certified by UK R&A for the use of international championships. Encouraged by the increasing popularity of The Open in Korea, CEO Jo is preparing even more upgraded products to pioneer overseas markets. Jo's philosophy is clear: 'Make the best products customers think it well worth the money'.
