Samsung attacks the market with new SUHD TV ad
Samsung Electronics announced they would attack the market with new SUHD TV ad for the peak season of the second half of the year. According to Samsung, the ad would emphasize the SUHD TV's natural color, super brightness and vivid contrast delivered by nanotechnology. Under the catchline 'World you never knew if not SUHD', the ad starts with a man watching the same movie appeared in the previous ad. The man says without himself knowing it is the same movie "Maybe because the difference of my mood?" followed by an answering subtitle "It's the difference of technology." The ad uses a scene of a classic blockbuster movie after remastering the color and brightness. Thanks to its nanocrystal technology and curved design, you can experience completely different feeling of the same movie you watched in any other TV. In other words, SUHD TV can make you feel you are right in front of a cinema screen. 

"The ad will deliver the difference between the existing TV and SUHD TV. We are pleased to provide a cinema screen-ike TV loaded with topnotch technology so that people can meet and experience a new world they have never knew before" said Jeonghwan Sohn, Executive Director of Samsung Electronics Korea. 

Samsung launches C-Lab's excellent project startup
Samsung Electronics appoints excellent projects of C-Lab(Creative Lab: voluntary research project) and supports independent startups. C-Lab was introduced  in 2012 by the conglomerate to promote innovative ideas and creative work environments in the form of in-house venture. Approximately 100 projects have been carried out for the last 3 years, 40 of them have completed task development and 27 are scheduled to be commercialized.

The results of C-Lab has gained much praise for its commercialization from both in and outside of the company. To spur up C-Lab, Samsung has decided to give a support for three highly promising projects to establish independent ventures rub by its own management system. The company expects the three ventures would inspire other staff with innovation, creativity and change as well as forster more talented people. In addition, without ranks or titles, everybody is equal in C-Lab, free from work hour but only appraised and rewarded by performance and result-based system. 

"We are preparing to introduce a variety of other innovative programs like C-Lab so that more staff can actually challenge their ideas" said Jaeil Lee, Executive Director of Samsung Electronics Creative Development Center.
