  The support of domestic enterprises is operated in earnest to enter into the international procurement markets, to which to enter is difficult, but once entered,   as the stable long-term delivery is possible. KOTRA (president Oh Yeoungho) together with a Trade Insurance Corporation, the Export-Import Bank, the Small Business Corporation etc export related agencies beginning with on 12 th of last month, starts the support of 300 companies selected as the firms leading global supply (P300 Project). P300 project funded by the Ministry of Industry is the business to support collectively global public supply market advance and  international organizations, the whole process of procurement markets, by KOTRA and four export related agencies. The spelling P of the word  P300 project means Procurement, and 300 means the development of build 300 firms leading procurement, starting with the support of the 100 companies in 2011 has been expanded to 300 companies in 2013. P300 project that has been limited to support international organization of procurement market advance, start from this year, when three years have been passed from it, was reformed as the training project for the firms leading global procurement market advance, and the fostering business' reorganization of the global procurement market is expected to spur more. 

UN procurement market size is $ 15 billion or more, and international financial institution procurement market is into and out of the $ 28.7 billion, which is despite the large market, UN procurement market share in each of our businesses is 0.3%, and international financing market has a mere 3.17% level. Status of foreign government procurement markets is more difficult, According to the OECD, the government procurement market is around 10% to 15% of GDP level in 7-8 trillion  U.S. dollars, among them the competition for market is presumed to be 2 trillion dollars. when looking at the FTA, market size, trade volume, the expansion of our business is relatively expect,  Korea's share of the U.S. government procurement market is estimated to 0.2%, which is very infancy. The UN and international organizations, procurement markets have been occupied by the developed countries such as U.S., EU that have the initiative. Like that, the awareness of the market of our domestic companies and the will of the entry into the market will also low.  In the case of government procurement markets, with the government Procurement Agreement, and FTA, institutional barriers significantly mitigate but domestic products given preferential treatment practices indirectly giving preferential policy will continue. The Local demanding certification process, other relevant laws and regulations to meet the procurement, the register as a vendor such as the preparatory work etc require a lot of money and time, which is the not easy factor  for the companies to enter the markets. Nevertheless, the public procurement market is the very stable market in terms of large-scale, and to achieve trade of $ 2 trillion the market is the one our companies can't miss. The training project for the firms leading global procurement is one-stop support platform constructed to support batch composed to support needs and to eliminate these difficulties with the procurement market step by step. About 300 companies selected as a leader in global procurement will be supported with the whole process about procurement for a year in the future such as the vendor registration, excavation support for bid information (KOTRA), bid bond limit expansion (Trade Insurance Corporation), preferential financing (Export-Import Bank), preferential financing for SME policy (Small Business Corporation) etc. 

  In addition, by utilizing foreign public procurement support center installed overseas trade centers to strengthen on-site support and through International financial institutions (MDB) plaza and UN procurement Plaza scheduled in October, which is the aim that our firms can receive procurement opportunities. In addition, for the firms leading global procurement, we will focus on strengthening the company's capacity for expanding procurement advance such as the practice of the training programs on the measures of government procurement market advance etc. 

  Kim Byeonggweon, Director of Strategic Marketing, KOTRA says that "The first entry in the public procurement market is difficult, as the long-term stable supply are available, the market can be the instruments to increase the company's international credibility, and can not be overlooked to achieve the trade of $ 2 trillion," "through the P 300 project orders over the past three years, the cumulative amount of orders in a total of 60 items, scale of $ 17.5 billion and 9 thousand dollars, so we will strongly support for the next one year to achieve  more order result."
