최근 디지털 싱글앨범 ‘그리움에 목메는 사랑을 자르다’ 을 발매한 전 사랑과 우정사이 ‘피노키오’ 리드싱어 강 원장은 김수환의 열정과 근성을 높이 평가했으며 짧은 시간임에도 불구하고 뛰어난 습득능력으로 앞으로의 활약이 기대된다고 말했다. 

강 원장은 이렇게 노래를 하기에 충분치 못한 여건에 처한 사람들을 생각하고 아카데미를 개설하게 되었다고 한다. 9년 전 갑작스런 성대결절로 ‘피노키오’의 보컬을 그만두고 좌절감과 막막함을 느끼며 문득 어떻게 하면 노래를 잘 할 수 있을까. 성대에 문제가 생겨 노래를 포기하려는 사람에게 어떻게 희망을 줄 수 있을까? 라는 생각으로 동기부여가 됐다고 한다.

그래서 인간의 호흡구조와 신경근육의 반사작용 그리고 뇌의 작용에 의한 신체의 반응에 대해 연구 하게 되었으며 그 결과 모든 소리는 뇌와 관련이 있다는 것을 알게 되었다. 이것이 강 원장만의 보컬트레이닝 방식에서 큰 비중을 차지하게 되었고 지금은 이 테크닉으로 많은 뮤지션들과 입시생들 그리고 TV오디션 프로그램에 나가는 친구들에게 희망을 주고 있다.

“우리나라도 실력을 갖춘 뮤지션들이 인정받을 수 있고, 음악으로 생계가 유지될 수 있는 그런 세상이 하루 빨리 왔으면 좋겠습니다.” 강주원 뮤직아카데미는 실용음악과 엔터테인먼트 사업으로 언더그라운드와 메이저를 연결하는 연결고리역할을 하고 있다.

Giving Hope with Songs

In the program of "SBS K POP STAR" on TV these days, a blind person Kim Soohwan who moved  Boa a member of the examiners to tears is the talk of the town. Kim who is blind is singing and dancing with dream and passion. His mentor is the very principal Kang joowon of the Kang Joowon Music Academy. Principal Kang, lead singer of Pinocchio released Between Love and Friendship in a digital single album of " Cutting Love longing for You", put a high valuation on Kim's passion and strong will. Principal Kang says that Kim will play an active part in this field through the ability of acquire in a little time. Kang opened the Academy respecting the feeling of the people under the worst of condition in which they can't sing. Principal Kim's sudden vocal cord nodules nine years ago prevented from working in a vocal group Pinocchio. So he felt so much frustration and didn't know what to do for the future. In this circumstance the following thoughts crossed his mind: "What do I do to sing well?" "How can I give hope to the very friends that is going to stop singing due to the vocal cord nodules". By those questions he was motivated to give the hope to the friends who are many musicians, college prep students, and the friends preparing for audition. 

Systematic Curriculum and Several Years' worth of Education Know-how

 Principal Kang and producers from famous singers from famed composers and vocal directors are working on the programs properly specialized pro audition classes in order to fit making albums and a good section of auditions with the differentiated programs. Norazo Vocal Lee hyeok of "Wiretapping in My Ears", Ok Yohan of Pia Vocal, TV star Choi Pillip, Blue Ocean Kim jiho in the King of  kings of Star King etc are in charge of Vocal education. A&R (artists and repertoire) team is composed of as in the following: singer Jo Gyouseon, Jin Woong, Ha naeun, DUO ION, Rock Group July, Hardcore band Backdraft etc. Second generation Korean Grant Kim is now being educated in this academy, kindling him with passion to achieve his dream. And the lesson image of principal Kang on You Yube brought Grant Kim from Vancouver to Korea in order to take part in TOP BAND SEASON 2. So we think that GRANT KIM is especially worthy of notice.

Principal Kang says that he will back up the underground musicians with overground's profit  

in the form of re-investment so as to maintain the principle of equality, improve the level of underground. He hopes that pure musicians with the wish of A&R, with the purpose of loving music, taking the focus on discovering new talents in music and spreading the Korean Wave around the world in the shape of franchise business system and world tour, will be recognized as the best expert in their field, and their music will spread across Korea throughout the world.
