Breath fitness in Gwangju

Onvit Aesthetics is located in Oryong-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju. Director Seunghee Yang is the Korea Breath Fitness Association vice president. She has been running an aesthetic practice for four years and has been incorporating breathing therapy into her practice for about a year and a half. She wanted to find a treatment that would make our body beautiful and make us feel good. Breath fitness was the start of this. 

“Breath fitness is a therapy to transform ourselves. Massage corrects posture and balances our body, but it’s not sustainable if we don’t work on ourselves. But breath fitness is sustainable because you can continue to do it at home. That’s why my clients keep coming back to my shop.” says Yang.

The breath fitness that changes your body and mind

Many of the people who come to Onvit Aesthetics were suffering from pain, but as they progress with the treatment, they are seeing results and are coming back for regular sessions. 

“There are a lot of people who have chronic stress these days and want to manage it, and they can feel the difference in themselves through breathing therapy, which rebalances the body and mind.” says Yang.

Yang adds “Breathing is one of the ways to make our body and mind healthy. I would like to see more people do it, but to do so, we need more people with expertise and experience. That’s why I am the vice president of the Korea Breath Fitness Association. The goal of the association is to open a breath fitness shop in Seoul so that more people can benefit from this effective method.”
