Digital literacy competencies is becoming a requirement in today’s society. Digital literacy obtains and shares information using digital media platforms and competencies in using computers, smartphones and networks, therefore, is important. Coding, introduced to school curriculum in South Korea in 2022, is a good example of digital literacy.

EZMAKER

HAICT CEO Hyungwook Choi developed EZMAKER. It is an education tool where students can do coding, data analysis and creating their own experiment tools. With EZMAKER, teachers can teach students software and science simultaneously from 30 kinds of sensors designed for elementary and middle schoolers. Students can improve their ability of collecting, analyzing and visualizing data and implement their science experiments. If the existing software teaching materials are complicated in electronic circuits and forms, EZMAKER makes them modularized part circuits with the same cable to connect all parts. Also, the intuitive EPL command blocks make students easy even if they do not know about coding. What is more? It helps them use Google Sheets and Excel data processing easy. Above all, the price is good. EZMAKER received excellence in AI and SW training performance from Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education. It contains hardware, software and contents for science experiments and physical computing and circuit building. All parts are named in Korean for students to instantly recognize.
