Icheon City is a transportation hub in the metropolitan area where the Jungbu Expressway and Yeongdong Expressway meet and the Jungbu Inland Expressway passes, and numerous logistics warehouses are located there. However, it was disappointing that the development of manufacturing was somewhat slow compared to logistics. Recently, a logistics company located in Icheon is receiving a lot of attention by achieving shared growth with a manufacturing plant located in Icheon City, reducing logistics costs and establishing a stable 3rd/4th party logistics agency system.

All in one logistics services!

The growing role and importance of logistics has led to the proliferation of third-party logistics, which provides comprehensive delivery, storage, and distribution functions. In recent years, four-way logistics, which involves a wider range of companies as partners to maximize efficiency and share profits, has gained much attention. Lee Jin has partnered with a number of manufacturing factories to provide OEM production for a large number of products and supply various packages for customers. With the best manpower in the industry and a stable third-party logistics agency system, Lee Jin provides clients with a one-line total solution from production to distribution. The company specializes in the distribution of disposable food packaging, manufacturing, distributing and delivering single-use and multi-use food-related products to large corporations, well-known F&B franchises, caterers, shopping malls and individual stores.

Partnership to supply goods to more than 700 businesses!

Lee Jin’s biggest differentiator is that it has partnered with manufacturing plants located in Icheon City to OEM many of the products its clients need, providing the highest quality and best service. CEO Myung Sun Yoo said “We carefully select and partner with only the best factories in Korea. We supply proven products with the best quality and reasonable cost to large corporations, franchises, and individual shops. We have the best manpower in the logistics of disposable packaging and shelf-stable products, and we have established a stable logistics system and act as a third-party logistics agent.” Lee Jin produces about 5,000 single-use and multi-use food-related products, including disposable plastic cups, straws, containers, and chopsticks, with more than 70% of its products OEMed at its factory in Icheon. The company provides these high-quality products at reasonable prices to about 700 large companies, franchises, and individual restaurants including CJ, Dongwon Home Food, Hanwha Foodist, Samsung Welstory, Shinsegae Food, Starbucks, CGV, Mega Coffee. In doing so, the company has achieved KRW 25 billion in sales in five years since its establishment in 2018 while growing together with local businesses in Icheon. “We are growing together by helping manufacturers in Icheon to produce high-quality products at a low cost. I think our competitive advantage is that we have a system that enables production and logistics in the same area, so we can distribute various products at the lowest unit price with the lowest possible logistics and processing costs.”

KRW 25 billion in sales in five years!

Third-party logistics services are becoming increasingly common. Third-party logistics refers to logistics services that comprehensively provide two or more logistics functions such as delivery, storage, distribution, and processing. In order to improve service, reduce logistics costs, and advance logistics operations, customers entrust logistics companies with all aspects of raw material procurement, inventory and warehouse management, and product delivery. The biggest benefit of this is the economic impact of reduced logistics costs and customer satisfaction due to speed and accuracy. Lee Jin’s logistics service has exploded in recent years, reaching KRW 25 billion in revenue in five years since it was founded in 2018.

Multi-use products sand shelf-stable food distribution!

Another differentiator of Lee Jin is its fast and customized service, providing a “one-line total solution” from production to distribution, as well as prompt logistics services. The company is able to deliver non-food products produced by OEMs directly to the vehicles that deliver to stores in each region, saving clients time and money while providing fast and expedited delivery services. The company also launched a service for disposable products and room temperature processed food in this time of eco-friendliness. The company established its own printing plant to produce reusable cups, tumblers, bags, and other multi-use items, and supplies products to large companies such as Starbucks and Amorepacific. The company started by supplying various room temperature food products such as ketchup and mayonnaise to famous coffee franchises, and now provides room temperature food distribution services to other food-related conglomerates such as CJ. CEO Yoo believes that employees are the company’s competitive advantage and puts a lot of effort into employee welfare. In addition to salaries that are among the highest in the industry, the company distributes monthly bonuses, personalized company dinners, and a percentage of total sales at the end of the year to all employees. The company allocates enough staff to each department, and also equips field logistics staff with desks and laptops so they can see what’s going on in the company and what’s in stock.

Receiving the Youth Award at the ‘1st Icheon Youth Festival Ceremony’

Lee Jin is evaluated as having contributed greatly to the growth of the local economy by creating jobs for local youth and high added value in the industrial sector through the production of disposable packages for paper products and the nationwide logistics network project, and received the Youth Award at the ‘1st Icheon Youth Festival Ceremony’ last year. The company also received a lot of attention from domestic and overseas companies who visited the exhibition hall at the ‘2024 Franchise Startup Expo.’ Lee Jin plans to actively explore overseas markets with partners and will also enter the F&B fresh food industry. To this end, the company has already secured a new site to build a cold storage warehouse and plans to create its own brand. Yoo said “The F&B market is growing every year. We plan to expand our business into the F&B market by targeting Asian food and chilled meats, which have received a lot of attention recently.”
