Smart construction solutions: Safe-T and ConTemp

BieL Inc. is a smart construction solutions company. It removes unnecessary process, optimizes the capacity, and 3D analyzes the data seen on the webpage. Predicting liquidity and constructability of concrete

Due to liquidity of concrete, it is very important to predict the pumping performance conveying through the pipelines. Carelessness on this can lead to an accident. To solve this problem, BieL Inc. and Myongji University joined hands and succeeded development of a concrete liquidity measuring instrument and a construction performance prediction technology. They name it Rhetribo and it checks the yield stress and the viscosity of lubricating layer formed in the pipelines so that the operator knows the pressure level to the pipelines and the discharge amount per hour. In a way, Rhetribo is an all in one device loaded with the rheometer that measures properties of concrete and the tribo that measures properties of the pipe lubrication layer. Thanks to this, the instrument has become lighter and more portable than before.

The accuracy is as high as 95%, as the viscosity, that changes depending on the temperature when measuring concrete physical properties, is reflected in the measured value through a separate correction equation, and it is expected that this will enable quantitative construction quality management.
