Award winning Nuerepa Life Science pushes forward its global health care brand ambition this year

Gunpo City has been supporting companies that contribute to revitalizing the local economy since 2022. January 29 this year, the city held a presentation for local executives and employees to make a note of city’s support policy. Among them was Nuerepa Life Science which received Excellent Company from the city last year. CEO Hyungjin Shin was awarded a certificate and a sign board directly from mayor Eunho Ha. Nuerepa was also designated Export Frontier Company by Gyeonggi Province in 2021 and has been contributing to promoting health and sports. It also signed a MOU with the Korea National Team Players Association to promote sport for all.


Small but strong company

Companies with the Excellent Company certificate are given incentives, promotion fund, public parking fee discount and medical expenses. Taking the momentum, Nuerepa also secured Innobiz A Grade from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and is exporting medical equipment to India, Nepal and Vietnam. The company donated its flagship product Nuerepa Patch to national team members of the association for better performance and results. Nuerepa Patch is attached to a painful part of the body to ease the symptoms and it is received as a simple pain ease solution. It is light and portable which makes it also popular among ordinary people as it can be attached to various parts of the body such as neck, shoulders, waist, knees, ect. What is more, it can be used semi-permanent. 


Going for a global brand

CEO Shin paid a visit to India late last year to lay a new springboard for a great leap forward. Running the business for 3 years in India already, Shin invited 60 local branch heads to a meeting held at the Hyatt Hotel, New Delhi and presented a new vision and gave encouragement. 1.4 billion people are estimated to live in India and it is one of the fast growing medical equipment markets in Asia. 

“I plan to expand the business in this huge land and people and take this as an opportunity for Nuerepa to grow as a global brand.” says Shin. 

Apart from India, Chinese businessmen in Henan City also paid a visit to the head office of Nuerepa last year and praised its 13 years of research capability.


Promoting sport for all

From the image of the brand for the old, Nuerepa has successfully turned it as a brand that promotes sport for all with its flagship Nuerepa Patch. The company has run a booth in various sports events for people to try the product. Also as part of this effort, Nuerepa signed a MOU with the Korea Office Worker Multi-Cultural Football Association that has around 3,200 work football clubs. The association president Sukhong Kang says “Most players are not free from pain. Nuerepa Patch is easy to use, so many of us attach it to the affected body part before starting a game.” Seeing its effectiveness, the Siheung City Badminton Association signed a MOU with Nuerepa and the company is pitching up a booth in various sport for all events to promote excellence of Nuerepa Patch.
