KOTRA helps Korean smart farms go abroad

KOTRA and the Korea Rural Community Corporation joined hands to help Korean smart farms go abroad. At the support project presentation held by both parties, more than 150 smart farm companies attended. The presentation introduced market trend, policies and regulations, successful cases, trade centers, consortium, K-Smart Farm Road Show, international agricultural cooperation, smart farm package models, building and management of greenhouses, agricultural product fund, all in one support plan, and many more. KOTRA especially is focusing on the Middle East where the awareness of smart farm is rising and published and handed out the strategic manual for the Middle East and African markets. The manual also included making the most of FTA. 

KOTRA runs a Korean hall at CES 2024

KOTRA and the Trade Industry and Energy Ministry pitched up a Korean hall at the CES 2024 and received great attention. 443 Korean companies joined this year and they demonstrated their excellence in one integrated Korean hall. Visitors to the hall were CEOs of global companies including Microsoft and AI Shield. South Korean AI, mobility and smart health companies especially attracted attention and talks for business were arranged on site. KOTRA and the ministry bridged 16 Korean companies with big shots including IBM, Walmart and Fedex while organizing a networking luncheon for 100 companies to talk about technological cooperation. 6 companies succeeded signing MOUs worth 8 million dollars. KOTRA is estimating around 100 million dollars of contracts at the CES 2024.
