With the declaration of carbon neutrality, the transportation landscape is changing. Electric vehicles, which were once considered specialty vehicles, have begun to come closer to our daily lives, and the number of people using electric vehicles is increasing. Along with this trend, it is now time to demand vehicles that utilize the strengths and features of electric vehicles, rather than simply replacing existing fossil fuel vehicles.

Developing electric vehicles to help the environment

Providing luxury carts for golfers

Able Motors (CEO Gwangho Lee) is a company that develops and provides various electric vehicles that can help the green environment, including three intelligent robotic mobility vehicles (R-Cars) starting with carts. Since 2010, the company has been securing automotive drive technologies such as electric vehicle-specific transmissions, electric vehicle control units (VCUs), inverters, clusters, and motorized power steering systems (MDPS) for the production of electric vehicles. The company has endeavored to have people who specialize in developing cars that consider design and collision as well as engineering, and the G_Car series is not just aesthetically pleasing, but a luxury that adds value and meaning to everyday experiences. Currently, the carts are available in two-, five- and six-passenger configurations, with futuristic designs and distinctive interiors, golf cart-based utility and special-purpose vehicle solutions. In addition to a spacious ride, each cart offers smooth handling, heating and cooling, and a one-touch golf bag carrier for added operator convenience. The front and back seats also feature versatile storage compartments for golfers, making this cart a comfortable and luxurious ride.

Ultra-Compact Electric Vehicles Coming in 2025

Able Motors becomes Able Global

Able Motors is working on a variety of e-vehicles, including robotic mobility and street sweeper, and is currently working on a micro-electric vehicle (MEV) with a target launch date of 2025. MEVs are vehicles that weigh less and are smaller than conventional light vehicles, and have a number of advantages, including low cost, ease of alleyway mobility, and stability compared to two-wheelers. Especially with the rise of delivery services, MEVs are believed to be a viable alternative to two-wheelers, which are often used, and are currently being utilized by small businesses and local governments. Able Motors sees the market expanding in the future and is currently aiming to launch with light vehicles in 2025. The company plans to increase the range, especially to differentiate it from other MEVs. Currently, most MEVs can travel 80 to 85 kilometers on a single charge, which means they need to be recharged between deliveries or use. The company is developing technology to make it possible to drive 120 to 150 kilometers on a single charge under the same conditions. With this, Able Motors aims to expand overseas, saying “We will turn Able Motors to Able Global by exporting to more than 80 countries around the world.”
