Last month, ahead of the holidays, a meaningful art festival was held in China. It was in the planning of the 2023 World Art Festival, which was held at the invitation of the Art Association of Weihai Development Zone, China. A very interesting performance took place at this festival where many Korean artists were invited.

The plan, which had been halted for three years due to the pandemic, is now back in operation. In particular, as can be seen from the lineup of this exhibition prepared by the Korean organizers, a lot of effort and detailed preparation work was made to lay a solid foundation for a successful exhibition,” he said.

The performance that received rave reviews at this festival exhibition held at the Ryugon Art Museum was a plan to create a scene where 12 chapters of the 5,000-character Diamond Sutra by artist Choi Yang-soon were spread out on a table. In addition, Hwang Eun-soon's Hunminjeongeum work for King Sejong received very high praise, and Korean Western painter Lee Ji-ho's Shared Wi-Fi series received rave reviews for 'brilliantly capturing the message of communication in the world.'

Meanwhile, artist Kim Bo-seon, who serves as the president of the Korea International Art Association, was personally in charge of all planning for this art festival. Artist Kim Bo-seon is the representative of K-art in Korea and the president of the alumni association of the Department of Calligraphy, Literary Arts, and Painting at Kyung Hee Graduate School of Education. Artist Kim Bo-seon explained the background to planning the performance of artist Choi Yang-soon, who received a lot of attention, saying that he planned this performance because he is one of the few writers who completed the 5,000 characters of the Diamond Sutra, and the artist's skills are also very good. It received applause from participating audiences.

Author Kim Bo-seon said, “My personal goal is to become a writer who left masterpieces by pouring his soul into his work. Along the way, he wants to think about the international sensibility of all works and provide much support to Korean artists in entering the global market.
