As the online market grows, the demand for logistics services is increasing. Foryou TLS (CEO Lee Sang-hak) is a logistics solutions company attracting attention with its differentiated logistics services based on long experience and skilled professionals.

The company has been building its capabilities based on the courier contracting and logistics warehousing business, and is taking a leap forward as a comprehensive logistics service company by expanding to courier services, 3PL, fulfillment services, and overseas logistics.

The company was founded in 2019 by CEO Lee Sang-hak, who has a strong presence in the logistics industry. Foryou TLS, which is composed of professionals with abundant experience, generated sales of 15 billion won last year based on its excellent on-site know-how even during the pandemic.

Establishment of a systematic on-site system with various distribution center operation experiences

The company strives for the advancement of logistics services through continuous research and development, and has been certified as a company-affiliated research institute, a venture company, an Innobiz, and a small and medium-sized company.

CEO Lee said, “There is no development if we do it like in the past. We are constantly working on ways to improve and evolve our services. We also pay a lot of attention to ESG management.”

Based on this system, the company developed a human resource management program and obtained a patent, and also developed a warehouse management program and applied for a patent.

Foryou TLS receives the volume of big domestic courier companies and carries out the work of picking up, sorting, and loading, and also carries out product warehousing, storage, picking, shipping, and warehousing.

Through this, the company reduces the use of warehousing by commodity manufacturers and importers as well as working hours, labor costs, and the cost of moving goods.

Courier contracting has high on-site operating costs and the need for managers and professional personnel, but Foryou TLS greatly reduces this burden.

The company introduces professional manpower to the site to improve work efficiency and shortens working hours through industrial safety-related training.

The company currently operates an average of 500 people a day in the courier terminal contracting business that unloads, sorts, and loads in Paju, Ilsan, Dongtan, Incheon, and Bucheon, and operates a logistics warehouse in Paju, Gyeyang, and Hwaseong.

Lee says, “I think the difference is that all of our employees are from the field and have been working together for a long time, so we have efficient field operations. We are continuing to develop technology and research for efficient services.”

The company is also engaged in trading business and logistics management consulting. Through bidding on the Nara Market, the company imported and sold drone detectors and radio detectors, achieving sales of 700 million won last year. The company also provides management consulting with the highest priority on shared growth, such as confirming and supplementing necessary on-site work.

Leading the logistics service industry with safety awareness

The company also pays special attention to occupational safety and health in the distribution center, where a large number of people move and there is a risk of various accidents.

The company is preventing accidents, securing reserve manpower, and managing claims through safety, assigning and communicating with the person in charge of each branch, and regular communication with site managers and workers.

The industrial safety process provides safety education before new personnel are introduced, and regular safety training and sexual harassment prevention training are provided every month. Before entering the field, employees are checked for blood pressure and health checkups, filling out corona questionnaires, health questionnaires, and musculoskeletal symptom questionnaires.

In addition, the primary safety officer for each workplace, the secondary safety officer for each area, and the third safety officer at the head office are patrolling. Depending on the season, they provide low-temperature and room-temperature beverages and support for health supplements.

Lee says, “We are working hard to ensure the safety of our employees by creating various materials for safety training. In addition, we directly employ workers, apply a realistic welfare system, and strive to improve worker morale and improve working conditions.”

Lee adds, “Based on the idea that the growth of employees is the company’s performance, and based on the operating philosophy of horizontal relationships and ethics-based leadership, we will promote our special system. We plan to continue our efforts to manufacture warehouse management automation facilities, goods import and export, and management automation facilities.”

Preparing for various businesses such as overseas expansion with differentiated services

The company is also expanding its footprint in various businesses such as overseas logistics and trading business.

The company established a subsidiary in Vietnam last year to spread advanced logistics systems beyond Korea and overseas. This year, preparations are underway for the establishment of a subsidiary in Uzbekistan.

Lee says, “The logistics system in Vietnam and Uzbekistan is very poor, similar to that of South Korea in the 1970s. We will apply the domestic advanced logistics system to the local area, and introduce various business items such as cosmetics and trading businesses.”

The company emphasized that it is striving to create an environment where people can work efficiently without getting hurt in the field by accumulating manpower and know-how in the logistics service industry.

Lee says, “It’s a tough and labor-intensive industry, but we’re researching ways to work more efficiently and developing our skills. We strive to put the safety and health of our employees and the working environment at the forefront.”
