Hyundai Motor Group to exhibit new technologies for eco-friendly future at World Climate Industry Expo 2023

Hyundai Motor Group participated in the ‘2023 World Climate Industry Expo (WCE 2023)’ held at BEXCO in Haeundae-gu, Busan from May 25 (Thu) to 27 (Sat). The company set up a large exhibition hall of 828 square meters, the largest among exhibitors, in the Future Mobility Pavilion, and exhibited ﹦flagship electrified SUV EV9 ﹦hydrogen fuel cell truck sprinkler truck ﹦hydrogen fuel cell multicopter drone ﹦hydrogen fuel cell-based ‘M.Vision 2GO’ ﹦hydrogen-based carbon-neutral steelmaking process model ﹦hydrogen fuel cell separator ﹦hydrogen fuel cell tram model new technology. The company established a network with various stakeholders such as global companies and institutions, academia, and local governments in the climate and energy fields, and shared its future vision for carbon neutrality and response to the climate crisis. The exhibition is said to be a good opportunity to show in advance the capabilities of Busan and Korean companies, which are promoting the hosting of the 2030 carbon-neutral World Expo. 

 

Hyundai Motor Group participates in Israel’s largest startup event ‘EcoMotion Week 2023’

Hyundai Motor Group participated in the ‘EcoMotion Week 2023’ held in Tel Aviv, Israel, on May 23. EcoMotion Week is Israel’s largest startup annual event organized by EcoMotion, which was established by the Israeli government to create an innovation ecosystem in the field of mobility. Hyundai Motor Group, which has been participating in the event every year since 2017, delivered a keynote speech on ﹦Electric vehicles (EVs) ﹦Robotics ﹦Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) ﹦Purpose-built vehicles (PBVs). Hyundai Motor Group exhibited the results of projects created in collaboration with Israeli startups, such as Gauzy’s active smart glasses and Apollo Power’s film-type solar cells. During the event, Hyundai Motor Group has signed a business agreement with the Israel Innovation Agency to support the discovery and nurturing of innovative Israeli startups. For 10 years, Hyundai Motor Group has been pursuing innovative projects with Israeli companies and achieved tangible results. The company plans to further advance open innovation and establish closer partnerships to jointly develop new technologies in the future. In addition to Tel Aviv, the company has also established and operated a global open innovation center, Cradle, in Silicon Valley, USA (2011), Berlin, Germany (2019), Beijing, China (2019), and Singapore (2021).
