Designing, building and supervising around 500 architectures

Winning Gangwon Architecture Awards

Opening Kirin Architects in 2002, CEO Kim Yong-ki has designed, built and supervised around 500 architects. On summiting a number of his works, he also won the Gwangwon Architecture Awards in the residential building category.

Kim finished the doctoral course in architecture engineering at Hongik University Graduate School and served as an adjunct professor at the same university.

His research areas cover from designing to programming, feasibility and digital analysis. While fostering talents at Kangwon University and Catholic Kwangdong University, he also has served as a judge and an advisory committee member in related organizations. 

Some of his well known designs include public buildings such as schools and social centers.

As for the future, he is planning to expand his scope to VR, metaverse, webtoon and wellness.
