HMG Driving Experience Centre begins operation for 2023

On March 25, Hyundai Motor Group began operation of the 2023 season of the HMG Driving Experience Center (located in Taean, Chungnam), the largest in Korea, combining innovative driving experience facilities for customers with a state-of-the-art proving ground. 

HMG Driving Experience Center consists of the Korea Technoring Driving Proving Ground (1.26 million妊) and a 10,223妊 building with two floors above ground, making it the largest facility in Korea where various driving experiences are taken place.

Starting with the 2023 season, the center will introduce new IONIQ 6 and EV6 GT vehicles to the EV Experience program, allowing customers to experience Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis brand electric vehicles at the same time. The Junior Driving Experience Program for young customers offers new fun for families, including building mobility kits and driving experiences with an instructor.

The center plans to become Korea’s representative driving experience center where about 15,000 people can use it annually. Program reservations and detailed information can be found on the website.

Hyundai Motor Studio presents an exhibition expressing the future city of carbon neutrality in Seoul

For two months from March 18 to May, Hyundai Motor Company will hold the “Habitat One” exhibition at Hyundai Motor Studio Seoul, which presents a vision of a future city in the era of carbon neutrality. 

Habitat One is a much-loved traveling exhibition at Hyundai Motor Studio Busan in July last year, attracting 100,000 visitors, and this year it will be held under the same theme with new imagination. 

The exhibition was born in collaboration with ecoLogicStudio, an architectural and design innovation group based in London, England, specializing in biotechnology.

The main work, ‘Tree One’, consists of an artificial tree that stores carbon in the body and supplies oxygen to the atmosphere like a real tree by injecting green algae into a bioplastic structure made with a 3D printer. 

In the large media parsa located inside and outside Hyundai Motor Studio Seoul 1~2F, the video work ‘Habitat One: The architecture of the carbon neutral city’ will be screened, showing the future where the structure of the virtuous cycle of nature is maximized. Hyundai Motor Company has been making continuous efforts to achieve carbon neutrality based on its brand vision of ‘Progress for Humanity’.
