More immersive space than XR

Robots meet metaverse

RoboRoboland is an XR metaverse company founded to provide users with a more immersive experience.

CEO Lee Hyun Jong(Robert Lee) has been working on the robot industry since the early 2000s, and established Roboworks, a robot entertainment service solution company, as well as the CEO of Robolink, an educational robot company. He took the lead in building a future robot educational environment through RoboLink, and introduced a concept that combines robot entertainment and service solutions through Roboworks. The innovation he will show through Roboroboland is the combination of robots and metaverse. RoboRoboland’s XR pursues the expansion of reality, such as making the same robot in the real space within the virtual space. To this end, the company has secured device interlocking  through tipping technology, which allows devices to recognize motions in the air and output them in virtual space. RoboRoboland plans to build a virtual world educational and interaction environment through multi-device access.

Exhibition and industrialization of XR convergence contents at Incheon Robot Land

Digital twin contents for industry-use

Roborobo (CEO Choi Young-seok), the parent company of RoboRobo land, decided to relocate the headquarters, research institute, and factory of Incheon Robot Land with Incheon Metropolitan City in April 2021. Incheon Robot Land is a national project to create a robot industry innovation cluster and theme park on the site within Cheongna International City. It is expected to become the largest robot base in Korea with robot R&D, manufacturing, production, demonstration, testing, and demand creation facilities.

RoboRoboland expanded its capabilities through technology exchanges, and CEO Lee held various projects, events, and cultural activities in Incheon through Roboworks, receiving the Incheon Mayor’s Commendation and the Incheon Cultural Content Grand Prize in 2017 and 2018, respectively. The company is preparing metaverse contents and smart factory digital twin contents that can be used after 2024 in earnest. Lee says “The fourth industrial revolution has not yet come to the robotics field. Currently, robots remain in the tertiary industry where individuals pay for personal service robots. Now we will lead the 4th industrial revolution of robots.”

CEO Lee was not only a leader in robot and drone education in Korea, but also has various careers in music, magic and performance. We hope that various convergence technologies will be combined with XR technology to emerge into the world as a differentiated metaverse.
