Ecode-In, the augmented reality containing stories of introduction, development, turn and conclusion from real contents of upcycling materials

Ecode-In makes environmental education tools and programs for children over 5 years old and distributes to domestic educational institutions and families. The biggest feature of Ecode-In materials is the environmental education kit that combines augmented reality and animation with real upcycling materials and contents. There are not many teaching materials related to environmental education in Korea. Ecode-In is the only environment education teaching material that combines high-level augmented reality contents. It is an environmental education program that implements 360-degree augmented reality in a solid story of introduction, development, turn, and conclusion, and it is the reason of attracting attention from educational institutions across the country. CEO Kim said “We are producing a technology-based education kit that cares not only for environmental education, but also for improving creativity and acquiring scientific knowledge through education.”

Made with waste banners, ‘e-Trip with Ping&Peng’ helps children understand of the importance of environment and feel empathy

And Ping and Peng, who live in ‘e-Trip with Ping&Peng’, explain how the earth is suffering from global warming, helping children understand the importance of the environment. As children solve quizzes, they collect green energy and save the earth, and Ping and Peng express their gratitude to the children. ‘e-Trip with Ping&Peng’ is a content that helps children understand the importance of the environment and protect the earth, while also raising children’s empathy. Kim said “Through augmented reality, children’s concentration and empathy can be increased, and at the same time, early education about the importance of eco-friendliness can be enhanced.”

‘Terrarium Making Kit’, an air pollution education content linked to official educational curriculum of elementary school

The Terrarium Making Kit is a program that learns about the seriousness of air pollution and purifies the polluted air by creating a small garden with air purifying plants. A single-use coffee cup is used to make a small flowerpot, and it contains several types of soil instead of one to help the understanding of the stratum, and plant succulents that have a great effect on air purification. This product is also a program that is fused with augmented reality, quizzes, and educational animations. It is a program that changes polluted air into clean air in augmented reality. What makes this product even more special is that it is linked to the elementary school curriculum. Ecode-In is producing a variety of augmented reality-based environmental education tools, such as a tumbler making kit and a whale dehumidifier making kit.
