Icon of sincerity, Young Tak

After debuting as a ballad singer in 2007, Young Tak, who turned to trot in 2016, is running on a solid road, taking second place in the trot contest program ‘Tomorrow is Mr. Trot’. It is an honor to rank 2nd, but the reason he is happy is because he found the most ‘me’ through the trot. He acts as a bridge between seniors and juniors. In the past, he formed a team called ‘Local Children’s Soul’ and won at the amazing competition Starking. His vocal range is capable of high notes exceeding 3 octaves, and he has all the necessary techniques and pitches for singing. ‘A Cup of Makgeolli’ and ‘I’m Jin’, which he showed in the finals, are evaluated as the songs that he best digested. On July 4th, he made a comeback with the title song ‘Like a Gentleman’ in his first full-length album in 17 years. The Initial sales record of the Hanter Chart, which is counted one week after the album’s release, was 524,000 copies, ranking 5th as a Korean solo artist. It is ranked 41st for a single album, and 3rd among trot singers after Lim Young-woong, who made a comeback in May, and Kim Ho-jung, who has a record of 530,000 copies.

Youngtak House Camp, a new local attraction in Andong

There are many fan club cafes by region or unit across the country, other than ‘Young-tak is the perfect fan’, an official fan club that supports and loves singer Youngtak. Among them, ‘Santa Claus’, which has been working hard to spread the donation culture, planned a comeback event for him and a celebration event for the release of a regular album. ‘Takclss’ also donated a scholarship of 2 million won to Andong High School, Youngtak’s alma mater, to commemorate his birthday. Young-tak House Camp (CEO Park Ki-joo)’ is created and not only exchanges information with the visiting fans of Youngtak, but also shares and communicates with each other, creating an effect of influencing visitors from abroad to Andong as a creative cultural content space. Park said “It is an infinite honor to be able to hold the ‘1st Young Tak House Camp Family Hanmadang’ event as social distancing is lifted. I will continue to do my best to develop the Youngtak House Camp into a cultural space that shares local cultural contents with fans through various events.” Power Korea expects Young Tak House Camp to be established as a new attraction in Andong and to be reborn as a local tourist attraction.
