It is troublesome to find out when sushi crossed the Korea Strait. But we do know that sushi restaurants visibly appeared in South Korea from early 2000 and explosively increased from 2010 as traveling to Japan became a trend. In the year 2022, we no longer need to go to the land of sushi in order to have original taste since we can find that taste here without difficulty. One drawback, however, is the price. Demand is high but price is discouraging. This is where Gwangsu Shin, Owner Head Chef of Shin Chef the God of Sushi, had his entrepreneurship: hotel sushi but the price!

¡ã Shin Chef the God of Sushi

Boasting 40 years of walking a single path as a chef in LA and in homeland, Shin has high level of skills and experience in Korean, Chinese, Japanese and western cuisines. Watching celebrities often appearing in his restaurant long before, he started brewing his idea of providing quality food at a good price for ordinaries also. Back homeland, he nestled in Uijeongbu, a short travel to north from Seoul, to fulfill the idea with sushi, rolls, udon and tonkatsu. Unlike many other street sushi restaurants, the sushi you see at Shin Chef the God of Sushi are thicker whether it is a salmon, shrimp, octopus, conch and many other raw fish. While the choices are many, you can also enjoy a cheese tonkatsu uniquely made by the chef with chunk of fresh onion, mushroom and pineapple clearly visible.

In order to keep the food as fresh as morning flowers in the Alps, Shin wakes up at 5am every morning to go to agricultural and fish markets and buys the freshest ingredients possible on the day. Whether you dine out or want a delivery, the money for value sushi at Shin Chef the God of Sushi will not let you down but the impression! <PowerKorea>
