¡ã Phnom Penh International Technology College (PPITC) Chancellor Woongsik Seo & Artist Bosun Kim

The bond between Seo and Kim goes back to 20 years ago. Seo then was the Korean head of the World Beauty Competition in Paris and Kim was the judge of the makeup and they met in Paris. They shared the same interest in color, makeup and styling and talked on the subjects many a time. Kim then was invited to work as a chromatics professor at PPITC.

"Kim started painting with crushes of rock. But even before, I have steadily collected her works. One of them is hung on the wall of my office in Cambodia. I'm not an art connoisseur but I Know I have a good fleeing about her works. The rock crushes she is using is unique and they are rare in Korea but common in certain part of Cambodia. I love to find more rare materials with her so that she can paint unique pictures" says Seo.

Kim is set to hold an exhibition at the Royal Museum of Arts Cambodia late this year and Seo is to play an important role.

"As a fan of her, I want to give support. If the exhibition turned out successful, I'm thinking of holding it also in neighboring countries such as Thailand and Vietnam. It is also a good idea that she makes a collaboration with local artists."

Kim says "I and Seo traveled Cambodia number of times and drew substantial results. As is usually the case, trust is most important. Seo is a great man who opened a college in Cambodia for students in financial difficulty to carry on learning for free. I think his character contributed to the strong bond between us. I'm much obliged to him for his support and in return I'm doing my best as an adjunct professor." Kim says that the profits generated from the exhibition in Cambodia late this year will be donated to the college for scholarship.

In Camboida, K-Pop is a popular genre among people. Likewise, Seo says, Kim's works can create a wave in the field of art since both K-Pop and Kim's works share the same identity of Korean. Kim says "Apart from the exhibition in Cambodia, I'm set to join two invitational exhibitions in homeland and one in Paris. Two works will be displayed in Paris. I'm a little bit nervous but I will do my best."

Seo says "I hope more exchange exhibitions between Korean artists and Cambodia artist will take place as Cambodia also boasts many great artists. I wish her exhibition at the Royal Museum of Arts Cambodia a great success and an international fame."
