KOTRA, Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Egyptian Businessmen's Association held ROK-Egypt Business Roundtable on January 20. MOUs and LOIs were signed between the two parties and they agreed to strengthen friendly partnership for the Egypt Vision 2030 that encompasses EV, IT, transportation and eco-friendly future industries. The Egypt Vision 2030 targets to raise the national competitiveness in the global top 30 by 2030 through promotion of 12 sectors including economy, energy, urban development and environment. 

Jeongyeol Yoo, Chairman of KOTRA, said "Egypt is the gate to and fro between the Middle East and Africa and KOTRA will provide unsparing support for Korean companies to proactively involve in the Egypt Vision 2030."

Saudi-Korean Investment Forum
KOTRA, Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Council of Saudi Chambers, and National Companies Promotion Program held the Saudi-Korean Investment Forum on January 18. The two parties agreed to strengthen cooperation for the Saudi Vision 2030 that lays importance in 5 sectors: manufacturing and energy, digital and smart infrastructure, national competence, health and life science, and SME trade and investment. The Saudi Vision 2030 targets to shift oil-centered economy to hydrogen industry. KOTRA and Oasis Residence also signed a MOU for bringing Korean-type housing and building materials and methods to Saudi and KOTRA is to support participated Korean companies. 

Jeongyeol Yoo, Chairman of KOTRA, said "Saudi is the largest economy in the MENA region and KOTRA will provide necessary support to strengthen cooperation for the Saudi Vision 2030 especially in hydrogen, digital and infrastructure." <PowerKorea>
