[Studying Overseas]
Once or more often in our lives, we might have thought of studying overseas. Whether it is a curiosity to experience different culture and language or improve school record or your workplace requires it, studying overseas is likely to benefit future course of our lives. Migyeong Park, Director of Mokdong Education, majored in English literature and obtained a master’s degree in English education and education evaluation. She worked in the consular and overseas departments of the U.S. Embassy & Consulate Seoul during which she built extensive administrative knowledge and knowhow. As an ardent Christian, she served the language school director of the church she attended for 4 years during her career in the Embassy. She ran English, Japanese and German courses and an English village program with the help of children of overseas missionaries and volunteer Christians. In 2005, she organized a 4 week language camp at a Christian school in Philadelphia, US, and guided 17 students. Prior to the expedition, she ran an 8 week preparatory program for the 17 students and their parents to make sure things go flawlessly. When the expedition turned out as a success with compliments, she was convinced of her talent in the field and the next year in 2006 she opened Mokdong Education.

Mokdong Education provides services that are necessary for students or people who plan to study overseas. The services are not only limited to English speaking countries but covers Europe and Asia. Its visiting researcher program is very popular among working moms of 5 to 10 years of career in the same field as their less than 18 year old children can benefit from free 1 to 2 year publish school visiting researcher program. TOEFL-exempted entrance program to state universities in Texas, US, also is popular among students less confident with English or having financial difficulty.
