(PowerKorea) In South Korea, you can see on the street men and women who have bodies like Greek God and Goddess. Large share of hashtags on social media is body-related and nicely shaped boobs, hips, chest and abdomen seem to be an envy of those who do not have it. Fitness is an area that needs professional instructions. But the pandemic has brought a halt to people visiting fitness centers and many of them do the exercise at home. However, experts warn that wrong way of doing exercise can rather ruin the body.

How to do it is more important than how long
Jaewon Jo, CEO of Team Smart, majored in physical education. He thought of being a gym teacher but turned his course to be a personal trainer who can do his own exercise and earn money at the same time. The reason fancy machines or programs cannot compare to a real instructor, says Jo, is that personal trainer is someone who encourages trainees and gives confidence and trust that he or she can do it. “In other words, a personal trainer works hard for his trainees to achieve goals both physical and mind. We must not forget that the reason we do exercise eventually is that we want to be happy and this happiness requires hard work and patience. The job of a personal trainer in this respect is to guide trainees.”

Team Smart offers customized solution
Jo opened Team Smart early last month in Pyeonggeodong, Jinju with customized training programs. One on one or two on one session not only provides attention to detail physical training but also pain management, body correction and conditioning. Jo, who obtained a certificate of physical training and fitness history, says that a professional trainer should have knowledge, technique and experience and make a constant effort in studying and practicing. This is not limited to exercise, he adds, but to general knowledge and practice of being healthy. While most of trainees want bodies like Greek God and Goddess, Jo points out beauty is at the eyes of beholder as everybody has different point of view on beauty and above all different type of body. Important thing therefore is to find one’s own pros and develop it while make an improvement on cons. Manners, of course, is out of question, adds Jo.
