2020 Korea Magazine Conference & Publishers Seminar was held on December 2 at the Press Center, Seoul. The on-site entrance was booked only for limited number allowance due to the pandemic but the event was streamed on Youtube live. 

The association president Jeong Gwang-young said in his speech "The pandemic is pushing us into an age of untact. In other words, magazine publishers also take action accordingly. The reason magazines have still power for the readers is because we pursue quality and variety of contents."

Dongguk University Ilsan Hospital family medicine professor Oh Sang-woo and monthly Interior publisher Park In-hak gave a presentation on magazines after post-pandemic.

At the 40th Publishers Seminar, attendees exchanged views on creating new business by using magazine brands. Some of the notable publishers attended on the day were: monthly Minhwa, monthly Energy Korea, monthly Outdoor, monthly Computer World and monthly Car Tech.
