Good Manufacturing Practices GMP are the practices required in order to conform to the guidelines recommended by agencies that control the authorization and licensing of the manufacture and sale of food and beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceutical products, dietary supplements, and medical devices. It was first introduced 1969 in UK, US, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Japan and South Korea encouraged companies to follow the standard May 1994.

GMP certificate has become very important today as it plays a guarantee of safety and quality of food, medicines and medical equipment. However, it is not easy to carry out procedures to obtain GMP certificate. And this is the point where a specialist like Audit Enc provides professional coordination services.

Audit Enc provides project and coordination services related to GMP in construction industry. The area of services includes ventilation, duct, KGMP, CGMP, EU GMP, cGMP, directive, guidelines, SOP, maintenance and validation. The company has 30 years of experience in the field and built trust and credit with responsible planning and execution from many companies of pharmaceuticals and bio, cosmetics, and foods and health functional foods.

Audit Enc CEO Choi Jong-myeong says “South Korea’s GMP system today can compare with the US and EU. But small and medium businesses are still struggling to secure specialists in the field. For this, Audit Enc is providing down-to-earth all-in-one services to them also.”

Audit Enc is received as a leader of GMP in South Korea. Behind this fame lies CEO Choi’s 30 years of experience working as a planning engineer during which he took in charge of huge projects relating to stem cell and biomedicine factories. Gathering his expertise, he established Audit Enc in 2017 in order to provide more advanced coordination services. Some of the differences he has made among competitors are user-friendly planning, spacing and efficient work flow.

Choi says “Obtaining a GMP certificate after construction doesn’t mean it is finished as follow-up management is more important such as regular maintenance, facility update and check on ever changing requirements from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. Also importance is regular training.”

Recently, Audit Enc is expanding scope of business to quarantine. This is only natural for a capable businessman like Choi to read the needs and wants of the time where a new virus is spreading far and wide. He is the one who led the establishment of the GMP Facilities Quarantine Association with reference to FDA guidelines and is carrying out prevention and eradication measures.

It is notable that Choi has applied for a patent for a temperature checking mask (No.10-2020-0104564) while shares part of his effort in planning and development of a clean room type negative pressure rooms according to GMP guidelines. In other words, the inside purity, flow and movement of man and things are designed according to GMP guidelines with appropriate application of props and emergency and sanitizing goods.

In recognition of his achievements and contributions, CEO Choi received the 2020 National & Social Contribution Awards held by the Herald Group.
