Health probably is the most frequently quoted word on media today. Eco-friendliness is happening in almost all sectors from vehicles and materials to food and life style especially in this time of the virus spread and the fine dust issues before. An American Lung Association report shows that harmful substances indoor is a thousand times harmfuller than that of outdoors. Harmful substances are found everywhere in our life from find dust and the recent radon issues to non-eco-friendly building materials.

A Waseda University report tells us that we inhale 57% of daily air indoors followed by 12% in public places and 14% outdoor. An indoor accompanies many stuff big or small and many of them are found to contain harmful substances. 

Taking this seriously, Ineco launched a passionate research and development and introduced eco-friendly building material Ieco blocks designed to filter harmful substances, remove odor and adjust humidity in the air.

Ieco blocks are attachable to the ceiling and pores on the surfaces filter fine dusts and harmful substances in the air like charcoal which is the best-known porosity substance. It is notable that charcoal is being used to keep the Seokgulam (grotto) and the Tripitaka Koreana intact.

Long lasting usability and design

Unless you take off Ieco blocks from the ceiling, it lasts almost semi-permanently thanks to its made of porosity substances such as plaster, charcoal powder and red clay as well 3 kinds of natural fiber and 2 kinds of natural essences in balance.

Ieco is offered in 7 colors of 62 three dimensional patterns but produced in the standardized sizes to be compatible each other. In addition, you can print images you desire on the blocks that will create a unique interior feel in your house. 

When in broken or need of replace, you just need to buy, cost-wisely, only the necessary parts and numbers to add. It is as DIY-friendly as eco-friendly that everybody can easily do it. 

Proven effect from various tests

Ieco blocks have passed numerous tests carried out by state authorization bodies in all applied categories of functions, mentioned above. They are scored high in using eco-friendly materials only and at radon and radioactivity safety tests. The coloring also is proved to use only the natural substances. 

In 2018, Ieco blocks received the Korea Health Industry Awards with credit for its function of preventing skin and respiratory diseases. It is the first case as a building material in South Korea. 

Thanks to this proven effect and safety, Ieco blocks are being sold in Germany at the moment and CEO Shin is soon to see the product in the US, Japan and Vietnam. 

Meanwhile, Shin is working on cooperation with a university hospital in Finland to develop a new material to use in products that can kill viruses around us as the COVID-19 is still wide spread.
