eWBM is a Korean fabless semiconductor specialist whose distinction has been shined in the field of security solution. As the closing of the year 2019, CEO Stephen Oh drewcollaboration, a Brazilian IoT company, and start exporting its innovative LoRa module made purely by techniques of eWBM.

LoRa is a representative technique of LPWA (Low Power Wide Area Wireless Technology) and it makes IoT devices communicate each other in and out of 10km boundary. Prior to the collaboration, eWBM listed its name in the members of FIDO, of the MISA (Microsoft Intelligent Security Association), and signed a partnership with IBM; all in the year 2019.

It is especially notable that eWBM joined the Microsoft Azure Certified for Things on which CEO Oh flew to the US to attend the Microsoft Ignite Conference to promote Goldengate, the eWBM’s Fido 2 security key.

Online based business and administration requires high level of security and eWBM, says Oh, has accumulated knowledge, technology and experience in the field and now is the time to expand engineering partners.

The MISA started business with 26 partners and the number has increased to 81 including eWBM which was proudly introduced to 50,000 participants of the Microsoft Ignite Conference. An official of eWBM says that the company has been working on partnership with Amazon Web Services and it will come into light by the end of the year.

Some of the innovative products of eWBM are FIDO2 Goldengate series key, Micro Modular, Lora Module, Ethernet Module, NB-IoT Module, security IP camera and quite recently USB-A type G320 and USB-C type G320; both are FIDO 2 Level 2 certified. The official says that the company is now working on the use of MS500 and the next generation MCU that will make it possible to log in without passwords.
