Sakagura is a sake specialist which sells only the quality sakes produced by master sake makers in Japan. Thanks to its excellence, Sakagura succeeded a number of corners in Lotte Premium Food Mark in Seoul Il-won and Munjeong, Daegu Hwanggeum, Yongin Giheung and Busan Yongho. The brands introduced by Sakagura are the famous Tokyo Tamura Distillery’s Kasen, Ginginga, Ginpu Junmai Ginjo and Tokyo Ozawa Distillery’s Daiginjo and Hiroshima Huji Distillery’s Ryuse Junmai Daiginjo Kuro Label.

Ryusei Junmai Daiginjo Kuro Label

Ryusei Junmai Daiginjo Kuro Label won the best golden prize at the 2017 International Wine Challenge in the Junmai Daiginjo category. It is well known to Korean sake lovers and is regarded as one of the best accompaniments to a meal for deep and delicate taste and flavor. It is notable that Ryusei Junmai Daiginjo Kuro Label uses only the traditionally made yeast.

Yoshifumi Fujii’s visit and praise

Fujii Distillery is one of the best distilleries in Japan that has 150 years of expertise in the field. CEO Yoshifumi Fujii is famous for making travel himself to 16 countries including the US, Canada and Singapore to promote excellence of Fujii Distillery sakes. On visiting the Sakagura Munjeong store, he said “There are many ways to enjoy sake. And I know very well that Koreans love enjoying liquor when there is food. I think sake will be one of the best accompaniments to go excellently with your meal. Besides, both Koreans and Japanese eat rice and love rice-based liquors and sake surely is made of rice.”
