Kim Young-sook, CEO of Jinsoo Biotech, won the 2018 Future Management Awards held on September 4th at Press Center Seoul, in the category of health functional food. Hosted by the Herald Group (Herald Business and Korean Herald) and managed by monthly <Power Korea>, the awards find and reward competitive and promising companies, brands, organizations and individuals in an effort to establish better consumer recognition on products and services. 

Jinsoo Biotech is a health functional food company that has promoted health and energy of men and women in their middle age with its hit products Jinsoo Yaryeok for men and Miz Power for women. 

According to experts, climacterium is not only applies to women in the name of menopause but also men with reduced hormone that is the cause of tiredness, deteriorated endurance and impotence. They warn that these symptoms can lead to depression and poor job performance and poor quality of life eventually. 

Jinsoo Yaryeok’s red ginseng, deer antlers and raspberry in particular help men take back their former glorious power while Miz Power’s cnidium, angelica root, peony and foxglove help women improve blood circulation and symptoms of cold hands and feet, dried skin and numbness.

Kim started research on medicinal herbs when she was visited by breast cancer in 2005. Jinsoo Yaryeok and Miz Power are the results of her research that has been carried out for many years. 

“I wanted to make health functional foods that are safe and effective, and can actually help those who suffer from energy loss like I once did. So I carried on the research relentlessly under my conviction ‘Nothing but the truth can reach the top!’ 

This belief not only has brought her a success she is enjoying today but will be the engine to keep carrying on, adds Kim.
