Neurofeedback through Neuroharmony
Our brain releases different brainwaves according to our state. For instance, it releases strong and slow delta rhythm when in sleep and weak and fast beta rhythm when awake. There are many brain training methods in the market and among them Neurofeedback is a rising star as an effective scientific brain training. It works this way: the electrode attached onto scalp collects brainwave data to be analyzed at the brain wave monitor that shows the results to the user; it repeats this cycle so that the user makes the brain release the brainwave the way he/she wants. “In other words, Neurofeedback analyzes the status of the brain and finds the weak parts for training through different brainwaves. Naturally, Neurofeedback applies to each individual differently” adds Park. The Dr. Park Byeong-woon of the Panatox IBC Brain Center developed Neuroharmony in 2001 in order to spread effectively the Neurofeedback to normal people; and Park is closely working together with him as the director of the center. The center is running various programs for all age groups from 6 to 80 and currently has 59 branch offices in Korea, 6 in China and 1 in the US.
Fostering talented brain trainers
Park started to have a curiosity about our brain when her son was born with problems with the brain. The poor baby had to go through a heart surgery and led a life as a class 1 disability. She tried everything she could do to help his beloved boy and studied psychology and art therapy during which she came to know about brain training as a liberal art at university. She observed children develop through brain training and felt sure that the training can also improve the brain status without using any drugs. “All most everyone can benefit from brain training whether you are suffering from psychological wound, insomnia, depression or a social misfit. Neuroharmny will help you maximize your brain ability and optimize it for you to lead a new life” says Park. In fact, many students receiving the training showed an improvement in their academic performance and in stabilizing their emotions. This July and August, the Panatox IBC Brain Center Western Daejeon invites you to the brain counseling course and the brain instructor’s course. If you are interested, get more information by calling on 042 484 3927. Meanwhile, Park is personally planning to engage in brain function analysis and brain training at Bomunsan Mountain Cancer Care Hospital.
