Launching of the brand

Flagshipped in Bundang District, Seongnam City, Rice Amook created a sensation in the region with its unique clean, thick and chewy rice fish cake lines and the heat wave seems to spread fast to the nation. “I came to know about rice fish cakes of Busan and I found they were different from the common flour fish cakes. I thought they were healthier and might receive positive response if promoted in the market. So I worked together with Matddeulan Food to have launched Rice Amook in partnership” explains Shin. Matddeulan Food is a handmade rice fish cake specialist in Busan boasting 30 years of experience.

Best sellers

Some of the best sellers of Rice Amook you will want to try are: original, spicy, boneless, cheddar cheese, onion, pepper, rice cake, mixed vegetable, shrimp, squid ball and paprika. If you tend to try something special other than the best sellers, you are recommended to try hot bar, eomookson (or fish cake hand), mill rice cake, silky soft ice cream, and fish cake rice ball. “We choose the freshest ingredients possible for all our products. We use Korean rice only and average 80% of the freshest fish flesh but up to 92% to realize the authentic taste of fish cake” explains Shin.

Be a partner with less than 50 million won

You can find Rice Amook in Pyeongchon (Anyang City), Sunae (Seongnam City), Wirye (Seoul), Jukjeon (Yongin City), Suji (Yongin City) at the moment. If you are interested in joining the business, the door is open for you with relatively unburdensome initial capital of less than 50 million won ($44,610) based on a 33 square meter store. “There are not many Koreans who don’t like fish cakes so it is promising to draw steady flow of income if we work together. We do not ask our partners a ridiculously high premium but we are determined to grow together with them through our win-win and transparent management” assures Shin.
