정 대표원장은 서울대학교를 졸업하여 서울 강남 삼성의료원에서 수련 후 여러 피부과에서 봉직 생활 끝에 인천 논현동에서 개원하여 3년 넘게 지역 주민의 니즈에 맞춘 피부질환 및 색소, 여드름, 비만 진료에 앞장서고 있다. 정 대표원장은 무엇보다 환자에게 먼저 다가가는 친화력과 환자와 소통하는 능력으로 병원을 방문하는 환자 모두가 만족할 수 있는 결과를 내기 위해 최선을 다하고 있다.

정 대표원장은 지난 2016년 4월 ‘머슬매니아’에 직접 출전하여 밸런스 뷰티(Balance Beauty)의 성과를 직접 보여주는 한편, SBS 모닝와이드에도 출연한 바 있다. 정 대표원장은 환자들과의 소통을 위해 끊임없이 인스타그램 등 블로그로 SNS 소통을 하며, 내원한 환자들과도 끊임없이 소통하고 대화하여 이해하기 위해 노력한다고 한다.
“소통 없이 환자 만족은 없다고 생각합니다”라고 강조하는 정 대표원장은 최근 균형 잡힌 영양과 균형 잡힌 몸매를 가질 수 있게 하는 영양제 상담에도 주력하고 있다고 전했다. 그녀는 “한국의 여성분들이 크게 놓치고 있는 것이 바로 영양의 균형입니다. 피부를 좋게 하기 위해 화장품만을 열심히 사용하거나 다이어트를 위해 원푸드 다이어트 혹은 디톡스 다이어트를 하면서 생기는 여러 피부염들과 잘못된 체형변화가 안타까워 현재는 영양제 수입 및 판매에 대한 법인 설립을 추진하고 있습니다. 훗날 질 좋은 영양제의 수입과 올바른 화장품 공급을 위해 앞장설 것입니다”라는 포부를 밝혔다.

Chicago Clinic opened its door June 2014 in Nonhyeon-dong Incheon. The clinic currently runs more than 20 kinds of laser treatments and the total diabetes clinic. “We focus not only on face and body but also the spirit of our clients with particular attention to anti-aging treatment. We also help our clients with effective home care and counseling for balanced nutrition” says director Jung So-dam of Chicago Clinic. 

Jung graduated from Seoul National University and trained at Samsung Medical Center Seoul. She went through a number of dermatology before opening her own Chicago Clinic. The clinic answered the need of local residents in Nonhyeon-dong especially in pigmentation, pimples and diabetes and Jung is most famous for her ability in open communication which makes every single visitor of the clinic 100% satisfied.

The total diabetes clinic is the most popular treatment of Chicago Clinic. It provides customized services from injection and management to part suction and surgery. “I think there is no satisfaction without communication” says Jung and emphasizes “Many Korean women are missing the importance of nutritional balance. Cosmetics alone cannot make our skin good and one food diet or detox diet also can cause various skin troubles. This is the reason I’m planning to import quality nutritional supplements by establishing an import and sales corporation.” 

Jung added “Many patients are suffering from chronic diseases. For the effective treatment, I think it is urgent to provide information and training on chronic diseases. Chicago Clinic will keep doing its very best services through thorough preparation and effective treatment.”
