경기도, 전국지방자치단체 일자리 평가서 최우수상 수상
경기도가 고용노동부가 전국 지방자치단체를 대상으로 실시한 일자리정책 평가에서 최우수상 수상의 영예를 안았다. 도는 2013년 우수상, 2014년 대상, 2015년 종합대상을 수상한 바 있다. 고용노동부는 일자리목표 공시제에 참가한 전국 243개 지방자치단체(광역 17, 기초 226)를 대상으로 고용률 등 정량지표(30%)와 일자리 대책 추진의 체계성, 지자체장의 의지, 중앙정부와의 연계․협업 노력도 등 일자리 인프라 구축 및 일자리목표의 달성도, 일자리대책의 지역적합성, 일자리대책의 창의성 등 일자리 창출 분야에 대한 정성지표(70%)를 평가해 지난 24일 결과를 발표하고 시상했다. 시상식은 24일 오후 2시 여의도 중소기업회관에서 열렸으며, 경기도에서는 박신환 일자리노동정책관이 참석해 상을 받았다. 경기도는 최우수상 수상과 함께 부상으로 상사업비 2억 원을 받았다. 이날 시상식에 참여한 이낙연 국무총리는 일자리 창출을 위해 기관장의 의지가 중요하고 전국지방자치단체에서 일자리 창출을 위해 적극 노력하여 주시길 당부했다. 박신환 일자리노동정책관은 “일자리 창출을 위한 경기도의 노력이 인정을 받은 결과로써 중앙과 지방, 민간, 노․사가 하나 되어 일자리 창출을 위한 노력을 한 결과라고 할 수 있다"고 말했다. 또한, 경기도는 도정을 일자리 중심으로 운영 추진 중이고, 특히 중소기업과 청년들을 비롯한 구인․구직자의 일자리 매칭에 최선을 다하여 일하기를 원하는 구직자와 빈 일자리에 인력을 채우길 원하는 중소제조기업 등 구인자를 위한 정책을 적극 추진하여 일자리 미스매치 해결을 통한 고용률 증대를 위해 노력 중이다. 앞으로도 경기도에서는 일자리정책 추진에 있어서 도지사를 중심으로 또한 의회와 더불어서 일자리 창출을 위한 노력에 도정을 총 집중할 예정이다.

남경필 지사, 직장어린이집은 일·가정 양립 위한 필수적 투자
남경필 경기도지사와 염동식 경기도의회 부의장, 공재광 평택시장, 김윤태 평택시의회 의장, 유의동 국회의원, 근로복지공단 심경우 이사장, 임병훈 텔스타-홈멜 주식회사 대표가 참석한 가운데 지난 달 25일 평택시 청북면 현곡리 부지에서 텔스타-홈멜(주) 직장어린이집 착공식을 개최했다. 이번 공동직장어린이집은 텔스타-홈멜 주식회사가 대표기업으로 어린이집을 설치·운영하고, 산업단지 내 한국호야전자(주), 씨유테크(주), 예놉틱코리아, 브이텍스코리아(주), 발보일플루이드파워코리아(주), 나노테크미쿠니 등 6개 외투기업이 컨소시엄 형태로 참여하게 된다. 텔스타직장어린이집은 총 사업비 12억 원을 들여 490.62㎡의 부지에 2층 규모로 내년 3월 개원할 예정이며, 컨소시엄에 참여한 7개 기업 외에도 49명 정원 내에서 현곡산단내 근로자 자녀 누구나 이용할 수 있다. 총사업비 중 10억 원은 근로복지공단이 지원하고, 나머지 2억 원은 텔스타-홈멜 주식회사가 부담한다. 경기도와 평택시는 기업발굴, 근로복지공단 공모, 신청 관련 정보제공, 인가 등 어린이집 설치에 필요한 행정절차를 지원했다.
남경필 지사는 이날 “직장어린이집은 중소기업의 미래를 위한 필수적 투자이자 최소한의 인프라로, 마음 놓고 아이를 맡길 수 있는 어린이집은 일의 능률을 최대치로 끌어올리는 촉매제”라며 “가정과 일이 함께 서야 기업과 지자체도 바로 설 수 있다. 경기도는 공동직장어린이집 설치에 필요한 부분을 검토해 적극 지원할 계획”이라고 말했다. 경기도 내 직장어린이집은 총 233개소로 공동직장어린이집은 현재 5개소가 운영 중이며, 8개소가 내년 개원을 목표로 추진 중이다. 이 가운데 텔스타-홈멜(주)를 포함해 광주시 아세아환경조경, 남양주시 노인전문병원 등 3개소가 2017년도 근로복지공단의 공동직장어린이집 설치 지원 대상 기업으로 선정됐다.

Gyeonggido wins top prize at job creation appraisal

Gyeonggi Province won the top prize at the job creation appraisal carried out by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. The province won the runner up prize in 2013 and the top prize in 2014 and the general top prize in 2015. 243 local governments were screened and credited based on quantitative index (30%) and qualitative index (70%): systemicity, power of will, cooperation, infrastructure, performance, suitability of job planning and creativity. 

The awards ceremony was held on 24 last month at the building of the Korea Federation of SMEs and Gyeonggido received 200 million won ($178,922) with the certificate. Making a presence on the day, the Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon emphasized on the power of will and asked the heads of local governments to do their best in creating jobs.

Job policy division director Park Shin-hwan said “Geyonggido worked closely together with both central and local governments as well as the managements and the labors of companies in the region to win the top prize.”

Gyeonggi do has been focusing on job matching between job seekers and companies with particular attention to local SMEs. 

Nam Kyung-pil attends a groundbreaking ceremony of workplace nursery center

Gyeonggi Province governor Nam Kyung-pil and a number of politicians and industry officials attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Telstar Hommel’s workplace nursery center on 25 last month. Located in Hyeongok-ri, Cheongbuk-myeon, Pyeongtaek City, the nursery center will be built and management by Telster Hommel and other 6 foreign companies in the Hyeongok Industrial Complex will be participating as a consortium. 

Total of 1.2 billion won ($1M) is pouring in building the 2 storey center on a 490.62㎡ land and it is scheduled to open March next year. All children of workers in the complex can use the center. The Korea Worker’s Compensation & Welfare Service is funding 1 billion won and the rest 200 million won is funded by Telstar Hommel. Gyeonggido and Pyeongtaek City, meanwhile, will provide administrative support. 

Nam said “We have to invest in building more workplace nursery centers to increase work efficiency. And it is important to keep the balance between the home and the work as it can directly affect the local economy. Therefore, Gyeonggi Province will keep providing the necessary support.” 

Among 233 nursery centers in the province, only 5 are workplace nursery centers. But the province is planning to open 8 more centers next year. Meanwhile, three companies, Telster Hommel, Asia Environment Landscape and a senior care hospital in Namyangju City, are entitled this year for receiving workplace nursery center support from the Korea Worker’s Compensation & Welfare Service.
